Salcete's 4 star hotel inventory currently lists 1 verified property on Spalba — Hotel Laxmi Empire, located in Aquem Baixo. What it lacks in volume it compensates in range: the property spans multiple distinct event spaces, accommodating gatherings from an intimate 40-person setup all the way up to a 500-guest celebration. For planners seeking upper-mid tier comfort with genuine event infrastructure in South Goa, this is a practical starting point.
The Venue and Its Spaces
Hotel Laxmi Empire offers a notably varied mix of event venues within a single property. Dedicated spaces include CONFERENCE HALL 1, CONFERENCE HALL 2, the AISHIVI BANQUET HALL, the KUBERA hall, and a Poolside Area — five distinct configurations that allow the same property to serve a boardroom briefing, a mid-size corporate gathering, and a large social function, often without overlap. That breadth within one address is a meaningful advantage when an event requires parallel spaces or a progression across different settings during the day.
Capacity at a Glance
The capacity range at Hotel Laxmi Empire runs from 40 to 500 guests, with the typical event footprint sitting between 40 and 200. Three of the property's spaces fall in the intimate-to-mid range (under 200), making them well suited for corporate off-sites, product briefings, or social gatherings where a closer, more focused environment is preferred. The 500-guest ceiling, served by the AISHIVI BANQUET HALL, gives planners the option to scale up for larger receptions or milestone events without leaving the property.
Location: Aquem Baixo
The property sits in Aquem Baixo, a locality within Salcete taluka in South Goa. For delegates travelling from Margao — the commercial hub of South Goa — or arriving via Madgaon Railway Station, Aquem Baixo offers convenient access. Planners sourcing a venue for teams or guests converging from across Goa will find the location practically central to the taluka. Spalba's 3D virtual tour feature, available for listed venues, can give remote stakeholders a walk-through of the spaces before committing to a site visit.
