The Venue: What Chikmagalur Offers

The sole listed property is Gateway Chikmagalur-IHCL SeleQtions, a full-service hotel under the IHCL SeleQtions brand. It presents two distinct function spaces within its grounds: the Chenakeshava Hall, suited to structured indoor conference formats, and the Gad Lawns, which opens the option of an outdoor meeting or team-facing session set against Chikmagalur's natural backdrop. Having both an indoor hall and a lawn under one property gives planners a degree of format flexibility uncommon in smaller destinations.

Capacity Range: Matching Your Delegate Count

Gateway Chikmagalur-IHCL SeleQtions supports a capacity range of 60 to 500 attendees across its spaces, with the typical working range sitting between 60 and 500. The property falls in the intimate-to-mid bracket — there is one venue capable of accommodating under 200 delegates in a tighter configuration, and no venue in the current listing goes beyond 600. This makes Chikmagalur's conference room stock best suited to leadership offsites, regional team meetings, training workshops, and mid-sized corporate gatherings rather than very large-scale conferences.

The listed venue is located in Joythinagar, Chikmagalur. For planners travelling from Bengaluru or other Karnataka cities, this locality within Chikmagalur offers reasonable access while retaining the retreat-style setting that makes off-site meetings in this region practical and distinct from urban conference environments.
