Convocation Venues in Bardez

Bardez, in North Goa, currently lists one verified convocation venue on Spalba — Holiday Inn Goa Candolim, located in the coastal locality of Candolim. Across its four distinct event spaces, this property can host graduation ceremonies ranging from 70 to 175 guests, making it a practical option for institutions seeking a formal, organised setting in this part of Goa.

The Venue and Its Spaces

Holiday Inn Goa Candolim brings together four bookable spaces suited to formal academic occasions: CORAL, CORAL 1, CORAL 2, and The Poolside Lawn Outdoor. This variety within a single property means institutions can select a configuration that matches the scale and formality of their ceremony — whether that is an enclosed indoor hall or an open-air setting for a more relaxed graduation gathering. All four spaces sit within a well-managed hospitality property in Candolim.

Capacity Guidance for Planners

Every space at Holiday Inn Goa Candolim falls within the intimate-to-mid-size range. The minimum seating starts at 70 guests and the upper end reaches 175, with the typical working range for most convocation setups sitting between 100 and 175. All four spaces are classified as intimate (under 200 guests), and none are configured for large-scale gatherings exceeding 600. Institutions with graduation cohorts in the 70–175 bracket will find a direct capacity match here; those expecting significantly larger audiences should factor this ceiling into their shortlisting.

Where Venues Are Located

The sole listed convocation venue in Bardez is situated in Candolim, a well-connected locality along North Goa's coast. Its position within a full-service hotel means supporting logistics — guest accommodation, parking, and catering coordination — are available on the same premises, which can simplify planning for academic institutions bringing in students, faculty, and families from outside the area.
