Newtown currently lists one dedicated engagement hall on Spalba — Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata — set in a locality known for lakeside settings and prominent landmarks including Eco Park, Biswa Bangla Gate, and Mother's Wax Museum. That single property, however, offers a notably broad range of function spaces suited to betrothal ceremonies of almost any scale.

Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata brings six distinct event spaces to the table: Opus III, The Mangrove, Terrace, Opus I, Empress, and Mangrove I. This variety means the property can accommodate both an intimate ring ceremony and a larger gathering under one roof, without requiring families to look elsewhere in the city.
