Event Venues in Kasaragod

Kasaragod's event venue landscape is defined by its coastal character — both listed venues on Spalba sit along the Bekal shoreline, offering settings that range from intimate garden gatherings to large beachfront celebrations of up to 2,000 guests. With spaces spread across Kappil Beach and Udma, this district delivers a distinctive backdrop that few other Kerala destinations can match.

The Venues Available

Currently on Spalba, Kasaragod is represented by two resort properties: Taj Bekal Resort & Spa, Kerala and The Lalit Resort & Spa Bekal. Between them, they offer a varied mix of event spaces — including a Pool Side Lawn, Beach Lawn, Soiree Hall, Soiree 1, Soiree 2, and an Agenda room — meaning planners can move between open-air coastal settings and enclosed banquet-style halls within the same property or across the two.

Capacity at a Glance

The combined venue stock spans a wide capacity range, from as few as 10 guests to as many as 2,000, with a typical booking corridor of 64 to 1,000 guests. Of the event spaces catalogued, four are suited to intimate gatherings under 200, making them well-suited to private dinners, pre-event functions, or smaller milestone occasions. Three spaces cross the 600-guest threshold, giving large weddings, receptions, and corporate galas genuine room to breathe. Matching your headcount to the right space early is straightforward given this spread.

Where These Venues Sit

Both properties are located within the Bekal coastal belt — one near Kappil Beach and the other in Udma. These localities place event guests close to the backwaters and the Arabian Sea, which shapes everything from the ambience of an evening reception to the practical logistics of an outdoor lawn setup. If your event concept is tied to a scenic waterfront or garden setting, this geographic concentration works in the planner's favour.
