Jasmine Lawns is an open-air, outdoor lawn venue set within the grounds of Radisson Hotel Varanasi. Events here take place under an open sky, which lends the space its characteristic garden-party ambiance. Planners should discuss weather contingency options, such as tent or shamiana coverage, with the hotel's events team when booking.

Capacity at Jasmine Lawns can vary depending on the event format, seating arrangement, and whether a stage or dance floor is included in the layout. The exact figures for different setups — such as theatre-style, banquet, or cocktail standing — should be confirmed directly with the Radisson Hotel Varanasi events team, who can provide a layout plan tailored to your requirements.

Yes, Radisson Hotel Varanasi offers indoor function spaces in addition to Jasmine Lawns, and the hotel's events team can help planners design multi-space programmes that use both the lawn and interior venues. This flexibility is particularly useful for multi-day events such as weddings where different functions may call for different settings. Specific combinations and availability should be discussed with the hotel directly.

As a full-service Radisson hotel, the property is expected to offer in-house catering for events, including customisable menus to suit the scale and style of the occasion. Whether outside caterers are permitted is a policy that varies and should be confirmed with the events team before booking. The hotel's catering team can typically assist with menu planning for everything from formal sit-down dinners to cocktail receptions.

Radisson Hotel Varanasi's events team can assist with event setup at Jasmine Lawns, and the open lawn format accommodates a wide variety of décor styles, from traditional floral mandaps for weddings to contemporary setups for corporate functions. Specific décor packages, vendor tie-ups, and what is included in a booking should be discussed with the events coordinator. External decorators are commonly engaged for weddings; the hotel can advise on its policy regarding third-party vendors.

Audio-visual requirements for outdoor lawn events, including sound systems, lighting, and projection, are common requests that the hotel's events team can advise on. Whether AV equipment is provided in-house or arranged through preferred vendors will depend on the hotel's current setup and should be confirmed at the time of inquiry. Early discussion of technical requirements is recommended, especially for corporate events or sangeet and cocktail evenings with live entertainment.

Because Jasmine Lawns is an open-air venue, weather contingency planning is an important consideration, particularly during Varanasi's monsoon season (roughly June to September) and summer months. Planners should ask the hotel's events team about the availability of tent or shamiana structures that can be erected over the lawn to protect against rain or strong sun. Discussing a backup plan or alternative indoor space during the booking process is strongly advised.

Radisson Hotel Varanasi is situated in the Cantonment area, one of the city's most well-connected neighbourhoods, with good access from Varanasi Junction railway station and Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. The Cantonment locality is relatively quieter than the old city and the ghats, which is an advantage for guests travelling to events at Jasmine Lawns. Exact travel times from key landmarks will depend on traffic conditions and the specific point of departure.

The Varanasi Cantonment area is a separate, planned part of the city that is generally well connected to major parts of Varanasi, though travel from the older, denser parts of the city — including the ghats — can be subject to traffic delays. Guests and organisers planning events at Jasmine Lawns should factor in local traffic patterns, especially during peak times. The hotel's team can advise on the best routes and any transport arrangements they offer.

Radisson Hotel Varanasi is a full-service hotel with on-site guest rooms, which means out-of-town attendees and the wedding party or corporate delegates can stay on the premises. This removes the need to coordinate accommodation across multiple hotels, simplifying logistics for larger events. Room block reservations and group accommodation rates should be discussed with the hotel's events or reservations team.

As a hotel property in the Varanasi Cantonment area, Radisson Hotel Varanasi is expected to have parking facilities available for event guests. The extent of parking capacity and whether valet or managed parking is offered for large events should be confirmed with the hotel directly. For events with a high number of guests arriving by private car, early discussion of parking logistics is recommended.

Open-air events in Indian cities are subject to local municipal noise regulations, which typically include amplified music curfews in the late-night hours. Radisson Hotel Varanasi's events team will be familiar with the applicable rules in the Cantonment area and can guide planners on permissible event timings. It is advisable to raise this question early, particularly for sangeet nights or cocktail events with live bands or DJs.

To receive a pricing proposal or check availability for Jasmine Lawns, prospective clients can contact the Radisson Hotel Varanasi events team through the hotel's official website or by calling the property directly. Providing the event date, expected guest count, type of function, and any specific requirements will help the team prepare an accurate proposal. Availability for peak wedding and event seasons in Varanasi can fill up well in advance, so early enquiry is recommended.

Jasmine Lawns offers the ambiance of an open-air garden celebration combined with the full hospitality infrastructure of a Radisson hotel — including on-site accommodation, in-house catering, and a professional events team — which standalone banquet lawns may not be able to match. The Cantonment location also provides a quieter, more accessible setting compared to venues closer to the old city. For couples planning multi-day wedding functions, the ability to combine the lawn with the hotel's indoor spaces adds significant programming flexibility.
