Mapusa's current stock of hotels with in-house banquet facilities centres on one verified listing — Dudhsagar Spa Resort, located in Mollem. The property offers both an enclosed Banquet Hall and an open-air banquet space, making it a notable option for event planners who want the convenience of accommodation and event hosting under a single roof.
The Venue: What Dudhsagar Spa Resort Offers
Dudhsagar Spa Resort brings together two distinct banquet formats — a traditional Banquet Hall and a Banquet Hall - Open Space — giving organisers a choice between an indoor setting and an alfresco environment. This combination is particularly well-suited to Goa's climate, where open-air celebrations are a genuine consideration. Having guest rooms on the same property removes the logistical challenge of coordinating transport between the event venue and overnight accommodation, which is a practical advantage for multi-day functions.
Capacity Range: Planning Around 55 to 350 Guests
The property accommodates gatherings across a broad range — from an intimate 55-guest gathering to a larger assembly of up to 350 guests. For planners working with a moderate headcount, this range covers milestone birthdays, corporate retreats, family reunions, and mid-scale social functions. The capacity split indicates that the available spaces lean toward intimate-to-mid-size events (under 200 guests) rather than large-format gatherings of 600 or more, so event planners expecting very large crowds should factor this into their shortlisting.
Location: Mollem
Dudhsagar Spa Resort is situated in Mollem, a locality that sits at the edge of the Western Ghats within Goa. This setting lends events a distinctly natural backdrop — away from the coastal bustle typically associated with Goa venues. For guests travelling from Mapusa or North Goa, it is worth accounting for the drive distance when coordinating arrivals. The resort environment, however, offers a self-contained atmosphere that can be an asset for events requiring seclusion or a nature-immersive setting.
