Outdoor Venues in Belgaum

Belgaum's outdoor venue landscape currently lists 2 open-air properties on Spalba, spanning a surprisingly wide capacity range — from an intimate gathering of 18 guests all the way up to 1,000. Both venues are anchored in established localities of the city and offer distinct open-air settings, making it straightforward to match your event scale to the right space without compromise.

The Venues and What They Offer

The two properties on the platform are Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi and Hotel Sankam Residency. Between them, the venue types available include a Lawn 1, Lawn 2, Shirish Garden, Studio 1, Studio 2, and Crystal Ballroom — a mix that covers everything from a garden ceremony to a large open-air banquet. The presence of dedicated lawn spaces and a named garden at Hotel Sankam Residency signals that the outdoor experience is genuinely central to these properties, not an afterthought.

Matching Capacity to Your Event

With a typical capacity range of 70–650 guests, these venues handle most mid-to-large event sizes with ease. The capacity floor of 18 means even a very small open-air gathering is accommodated, while the ceiling of 1,000 makes large celebrations fully viable. Of the individual spaces available across both properties, 5 are suited to intimate events under 200 guests and 3 can comfortably host groups over 600 — a useful split for planners weighing a close-knit function against a large-scale celebration.

Where in Belgaum to Look

The venues are located across two localities: Kakati and Gandhi Nagar. Gandhi Nagar is a well-connected part of the city, making it convenient for guests travelling from different parts of Belgaum. Kakati offers a somewhat more peripheral setting, which can lend an open-air event a greater sense of space and separation from the city's busy core. Knowing which locality suits your guests' travel logistics is a practical first step before shortlisting spaces.

Staying in Your Category's Lane
