Salcete's resort stock is compact but well-defined: 2 full-service leisure retreats, both concentrated along the coastline localities of Betalbatim and Sernabatim in South Goa. What they offer is genuine range — from intimate gatherings of 70 guests to large-format events accommodating up to 900 — with venue spaces spanning open lawns, poolside settings, and dedicated conference halls tucked within a single self-contained property.
The Resorts and Their Spaces
Beleza By The Beach and Baywatch Resort Goa together account for the resorts available in Salcete. Between them, the venue types span Praia Branca, Tentacao Lawn, Poolside Lawn, Nazare Lawn, Sereno, and the Dolphin Conference Hall — a mix that places outdoor garden and beachside settings alongside a proper indoor hall, giving planners meaningful flexibility when it comes to weather, formality, and function type.
Capacity: Matching the Right Space to Your Event
Most event spaces across these two resorts fall comfortably in the 120–450 guest range, which suits mid-size corporate gatherings, social celebrations, and group retreats well. Four of the available spaces are suited to more intimate groups below 200 guests, while one space scales to over 600 — reaching a ceiling of 900 for large-format events. If your headcount sits at the lower end, a lawn such as Tentacao Lawn or Nazare Lawn is likely the right fit; larger programmes can be directed toward the resort's full outdoor capacity.
Where These Resorts Are Located
Both resorts are situated within the Betalbatim and Sernabatim belt of Salcete — a stretch of South Goa's coastline known for its relative quiet compared to the northern beaches. This positioning makes the resorts particularly suited to events where guests are expected to stay on-site across multiple days, since the surrounding area supports a self-contained experience without requiring significant travel to other facilities.
