Banquet Halls in Majorda

Majorda, tucked along Goa's South Konkan coastline, currently offers one fully listed banquet hall property on Spalba — Alila Diwa Goa - A Hyatt Brand. What it lacks in numbers, it more than compensates for in variety: the property houses six distinct event spaces, spanning intimate boardrooms, open lawns, and grand ballrooms, giving planners a genuine range of configurations under one address in Majorda.

The Venue and Its Event Spaces

Alila Diwa Goa - A Hyatt Brand presents a notably broad mix of venue types for a single property. The roster includes the Udeta Ballroom, Alila Ballroom, Udeta Lawn, Alila Lawn, a Board Room, and a Meeting Room — six spaces that collectively cover everything from a focused corporate session to a large-format social celebration. This internal variety means an event organiser need not look across multiple venues to find the right fit for different components of the same event, whether it is a pre-function gathering, a plenary session, or a sit-down reception.

Capacity Range: From Intimate to Grand

The capacity spread at this property is among the widest you will find in a South Goa address. At the lower end, spaces open at 30 guests, making them viable for private corporate meetings or small family celebrations. The typical working range runs from 42 to 504 guests, which covers most mid-scale weddings and large corporate events comfortably. For planners with a large guest list, the upper ceiling reaches 908 guests — the large-format spaces (suited for gatherings over 600) make Majorda a credible destination for sizable receptions and conferences. Two of the six spaces are sized for under 200 guests, offering the more contained, intimate settings that many smaller gatherings require.

Where in Majorda

The property sits within the Majorda locality itself, which places it conveniently close to the beach belt of South Goa and well-connected to the broader Salcete region. For guests travelling from Margao, the nearest major rail and road hub, the Majorda location is accessible without navigating Goa's busier northern corridors — a practical consideration for outstation attendees.
