4 Star Hotels in Kollam

Kollam's four-star hotel landscape currently centres on one standout property — The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel — which brings a breadth of event infrastructure that is rare for a city of Kollam's scale. Set in Thevally, this property alone spans six distinct venue spaces and accommodates groups as small as 15 and as large as 770, making it a genuine all-in-one option for organisers seeking elevated comfort and business-ready facilities on the backwaters.

The Property and Its Venue Mix

The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel offers an unusually diverse spread of event spaces under one address. The Senate and The Empire serve structured, air-conditioned indoor requirements; the Raviz Convention Centre handles large convention-scale gatherings; the Poolside Lawn opens the event to Kollam's waterfront setting; the Raviz Floating Fort adds a distinctive, water-based venue option; and the Helipad caters to arrivals or open-air setups that demand something entirely different. Few individual properties in Kerala's upper-mid tier match this variety of formats on a single campus.

Matching Capacity to Your Event

With a capacity range of 15 to 770 guests and a typical sweet spot of 70–300, the property is structured to serve a wide spectrum of event sizes. Three of its spaces are suited to intimate gatherings under 200 — ideal for board meetings, product launches, or private celebrations — while the convention-scale space accommodates over 600, making it equally relevant for large conferences or multi-session corporate events. Planners can explore each space through Spalba's 3D virtual tours before making a shortlist decision.

Location: Thevally

The hotel is located in Thevally, a locality that connects central Kollam to the Ashtamudi Lake waterfront. This positioning is particularly relevant for outstation delegates arriving by road or rail, as Kollam Junction is within easy reach. The waterfront setting also adds a practical dimension for events that wish to incorporate outdoor or water-based elements without moving guests to a secondary venue.
