Pelling's upper-mid tier hospitality stock currently lists 4 four-star properties on Spalba, spread across distinct localities — Naku, Pelling-Rimbi Road, the town of Pelling itself, and Yangtey. Set against the backdrop of the Kanchenjunga range, these properties combine elevated comfort with event-ready infrastructure, making them a considered choice for organisers who need more than basic accommodation but want a setting that reflects Sikkim's mountain character.
The Venues on This List
The four properties represent a compact but varied selection. Udaan Khang-Chen View Resort & Spa and Udaan Hotel Pine Crest, Pelling are both well-positioned within Pelling's four-star segment. The Chumbi Mountain Retreat Pelling Resort in Sikkim offers a retreat-style setting suited to residentials and off-site gatherings, while Summit Tashi Ghang Heritage Resort, Pelling brings a heritage character to the mix. Venue type across all four is Banquet Hall, meaning each property supports structured event setups within the property itself.
Capacity to Expect
All four properties on this list support a guest count of up to 100, placing every venue squarely in the intimate event bracket. For planners organising corporate retreats, small conferences, private celebrations, or destination wedding functions with a curated guest list, this capacity range is well-suited. The consistency across the properties — each capping at 100 — means you are unlikely to find a larger-format option within this tier in Pelling; if your attendance projection runs higher, it is worth reviewing alternate categories before committing.
Where These Venues Are Located
The four properties are distributed across Pelling's key localities. Yangtey and Naku tend to sit slightly elevated, often offering broader panoramic access, while Pelling-Rimbi Road and central Pelling provide easier connectivity for guests arriving from Jorethang or Gyalshing. When shortlisting, consider proximity to your guests' accommodation and the road access conditions applicable during your travel window, particularly for the shoulder and monsoon seasons in Sikkim.
