Cocktail Party Venues in Durg

Durg's current listing for cocktail party venues is anchored by a single well-equipped property on Station Road — Hotel Sagar International — which offers multiple event spaces suited to the standing, drinks-led reception format. With a capacity range of 50 to 300 guests spread across its halls, this property covers both intimate gatherings and mid-scale cocktail evenings for Durg hosts.

What the Venue Stock Looks Like

Hotel Sagar International brings together three distinct spaces under one roof: a Darbar Hall, an Utsav Hall, and a Conference Hall. This variety means a host can select a room that matches the scale and character of their cocktail event — whether that is a flowing, open-floor reception in the Darbar Hall or a more contained evening in the Conference Hall. The multi-hall setup also allows for adjoining spaces to be combined or separated based on the event's programme.

Matching Your Guest Count to the Right Space

The capacity range across Hotel Sagar International's spaces runs from 50 to 300 guests, with two spaces falling within the intimate-under-200 bracket. For cocktail hosts expecting fewer than 150 guests, the smaller halls provide a close, social atmosphere well-suited to standing receptions. Those planning larger gatherings of up to 300 can look to the full hall configurations. When choosing, factor in that cocktail formats typically require more floor space per guest than seated dinners, so the upper end of each hall's stated capacity is best treated as a ceiling rather than a target.

Location: Station Road

The venue sits on Station Road — a central and accessible address in Durg, convenient for guests arriving from across the city or travelling in from neighbouring Bhilai. Proximity to Durg railway station makes it a practical choice when attendees are coming from multiple directions.
