Convocation Venues in Latur

Latur's current listed stock for formal academic graduation ceremonies stands at one verified convocation venue, and it is a substantial one. Grand Sarovar Portico, Latur — located in Deep Jyoti Nagar — offers a capacity range of 200 to 800 guests, making it one of the few large-format options in this part of Maharashtra suited to the scale and formality that a convocation demands.

The Venue Available for Convocations in Latur

Grand Sarovar Portico, Latur brings together three distinct event spaces under one property: the Emerald, the Ruby, and a Lawn. This mix gives organising institutions meaningful flexibility — the Emerald and Ruby halls serve the structured, stage-and-seating format that a graduation ceremony requires, while the Lawn can support post-ceremony receptions or overflow arrangements. For academic institutions in and around Latur seeking a single property that can manage the full arc of a convocation day, this multi-space setup is a practical consideration.

Capacity Fit for Graduation Ceremonies

The 200–800 guest range at this property spans from mid-sized departmental ceremonies to full institution-wide convocations. With one space in the capacity-split sitting above the 600-guest mark, Grand Sarovar Portico, Latur is especially relevant for universities and colleges expecting large graduating cohorts or combined-batch ceremonies. Institutions with smaller graduating batches can use the same property's individual halls to keep the event suitably intimate without sacrificing the formality of setting.
