Convocation Venues in Palakkad

Palakkad currently lists 3 venues on Spalba suited for formal academic graduation ceremonies. The stock is concentrated in Sultanpet and Palakkad Town, and it spans a wide capacity range — from compact conference halls seating as few as 25 to a banquet-scale space accommodating up to 1,000 guests. For institutions planning a convocation in this district, the available spread covers everything from departmental award ceremonies to full-batch graduations.

The Venues Available

The three properties currently listed are Hotel Garden House, ARK Hotel & Convention Centre, and Hotel Kottaram. Together, they offer a variety of named halls — including the Aiswarya Conference Hall, Athira Banquet Hall, Ashokam Conference Hall, and the distinctively named academic trio of Aaryabhatta, Bhaskara, and Brahmagupta. That last set, housed within ARK Hotel & Convention Centre, signals a setup already accustomed to academic gatherings.

Matching Capacity to Your Ceremony

Six of the seven halls on record seat fewer than 200 guests, making this city's inventory best suited to mid-scale convocations — the kind typical of a single department, a professional course cohort, or a smaller institution. The typical usable range across listings is 50 to 200 seats, which aligns well with focused graduation events. One hall scales up to 1,000, giving larger institutions a single option for a full-batch ceremony without having to look outside the district.

Where Venues Are Located

Palakkad's convocation-capable venues cluster in two areas: Sultanpet and Palakkad Town. Both are centrally accessible, which matters when guests, faculty, and graduating students are travelling in from different parts of the district. Proximity to the town core also simplifies logistics around accommodation and transport for outstation attendees — a practical consideration for any institution whose graduating batch draws from across Kerala.

Related Event Spaces to Explore

A graduation day often involves more than just the main ceremony. For larger theatrical or tiered-seating setups, auditoriums in Palakkad may serve better. If the post-ceremony programme involves a formal institutional gathering or seminar, corporate venues are worth reviewing. For very large multi-event graduation programmes, convention centers offer an alternative scale.
