Ranikhet currently lists 2 dedicated convocation venues on Spalba, both set against the town's characteristic hill-station surroundings. The available stock comprises outdoor lawn and garden spaces — a distinctive feature of Ranikhet's venue landscape — making the city a fitting choice for intimate, open-air graduation ceremonies rather than large-scale institutional gatherings.
The Venues Available in Ranikhet
Both venues in this category bring a natural, open character to formal academic occasions. Hotel Chevron Rosemount, Ranikhet offers a well-maintained setting suited to structured ceremonial formats. Ranikhet club, a heritage establishment in the town, provides a garden environment that lends quiet dignity to graduation events. Between them, these two properties represent the full range of convocation-capable spaces currently available in Ranikhet.
Capacity: What to Expect
Every convocation venue listed in Ranikhet accommodates up to 20 guests, placing the entire stock firmly in the intimate category — both properties seat under 200. This makes Ranikhet's convocation spaces best suited for small cohort graduations, departmental ceremonies, or boutique academic institutions where a close, personal atmosphere is the priority. If your ceremony requires significantly larger seating, it is worth exploring the capacity notes on each venue listing before confirming.
Venue Types: Lawns and Gardens
The venue types present in this category are exclusively outdoor — lawns and gardens. This is worth factoring into your event planning: an open-air graduation in Ranikhet's mountain climate can be memorable, but seasonal weather and time-of-year considerations should be part of your venue discussions. Spalba's 3D virtual tours can help you assess the layout and spatial feel of each property before an in-person visit.
