Salem's convocation venue landscape currently centres on a curated property in the Meyyanur locality — CJ Pallazzio — which offers multiple distinct event spaces under one roof. With a combined guest capacity ranging from as few as 12 to as many as 400, this property gives academic institutions the flexibility to host everything from departmental graduation gatherings to full-scale convocation ceremonies suited for several hundred graduands and their families.
The Venue at a Glance
CJ Pallazzio stands as Salem's available option for formal convocation settings, and its breadth of internal spaces makes it a practical choice for varied institutional needs. The property comprises several named halls and zones — Indigo, Elita, Chicory, and Nimbus for structured ceremonial seating, alongside a Board Room for faculty or committee use, and an Unwind Lounge that can serve pre- or post-ceremony receptions. This mix of spaces means that multiple facets of a graduation day — the formal conferment, administrative briefings, and informal celebrations — can be managed within a single venue.
Matching Capacity to Your Ceremony
Graduation ceremonies in Salem can be planned with confidence across a wide capacity band. CJ Pallazzio accommodates groups from 12 (well-suited for intimate departmental award ceremonies) up to 400 guests at its largest configuration. The typical booking range sits between 40 and 200 attendees, which aligns comfortably with mid-sized institution requirements. All four of the intimate-format spaces (under 200-guest capacity) fall within this property, making it especially well-positioned for colleges and institutes whose graduating cohorts fall in the 50–200 range. Institutions expecting larger footfall above 400 should factor in multiple-session scheduling.
