The Venue Mix in Somnath

The three properties on Spalba — The Fern Residency Somnath, Clarks Collection, Somnath, and Sarovar Portico, Somnath — collectively offer a variety of event spaces including dedicated Banquet Halls, Lawn areas, and specially named halls such as Lotus and Coral. This variety means that whether a ceremony calls for an enclosed, climate-controlled hall or an open-air setting, the options in Somnath accommodate both preferences within a single city.

Capacity Guidance for Graduation Ceremonies

Two of the three listed venues fall under the 200-guest mark, making them well suited for department-level or smaller institutional convocations. Typical seating across these venues runs between 150 and 250 guests, which aligns naturally with medium-sized academic batches. For larger ceremonies, the upper end of available capacity reaches 500 guests — sufficient for institution-wide gatherings that need a more expansive setup. Planners should match their confirmed attendee count to this 120–500 range when shortlisting spaces.

Where Venues Are Located

All three convocation venues are situated within Somnath itself, making logistics straightforward for attendees, faculty, and visiting guests. The concentrated location also simplifies arrangements for accommodation and transportation, as all listed properties are established hospitality venues with in-house facilities that support multi-session ceremony days.
