Convocation Venues in Sriperumbudur

Sriperumbudur's convocation venue landscape currently features a curated option that spans capacities from 60 to 500 guests, anchored in the Sunguvarchatram locality. With multiple distinct event spaces available under one roof, institutions planning formal academic graduation ceremonies will find a flexible and professionally managed setting well-suited to the occasion.

The Venue: What Sriperumbudur Offers

Fairfield by Marriott Sriperumbudur is the primary venue currently listed for convocation events in this city. It presents a selection of named spaces — Marigold, Chrysanthemum, Jawmine, Lawn, and the combined Chrysanthemum + Marigold configuration — giving event planners meaningful choice in terms of layout, size, and indoor-versus-outdoor setting. Each space carries a distinct character, from enclosed banquet halls to open lawn arrangements, making it adaptable to the formality and scale a convocation ceremony demands.

Capacity Guidance for Convocation Planning

The venue's spaces collectively accommodate gatherings ranging from 60 to 500 attendees. The typical configuration sits between 60 and 132 guests, which suits most departmental or programme-level graduation ceremonies where intimacy and clarity of proceedings matter. For larger all-institute convocations closer to the 500-guest mark, the Chrysanthemum + Marigold combined hall offers the expanded footprint needed to seat graduates, faculty, and families together. Notably, all four available hall configurations fall within the under-200 capacity range individually, making this venue best suited to mid-scale graduation events rather than very large convocations exceeding 600.

Location: Sunguvarchatram

The venue is situated in Sunguvarchatram, a well-connected corridor along the Chennai–Bengaluru highway that makes it accessible for attendees travelling from across the Sriperumbudur industrial belt and from Chennai. For institutions based in or around this corridor, the proximity reduces logistical complexity on convocation day.
