The Venues Available in Kollam

The eight properties on Spalba cover a wide spectrum of event spaces. The Vijaya Palace houses the Vijaya Convention Centre, one of the city's largest dedicated event spaces. Vaidya Hotel offers the Prayag Banquet Hall alongside a restaurant setting. KTDC Aqua Land brings an outdoor poolside option into the mix, while The Nani Hotels and Resorts provides a rooftop restaurant for events with a view. On the waterfront, The Raviz Ashtamudi, Club Mahindra Ashtamudi, and The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel collectively anchor Kollam's premium resort-style event circuit. Shah International Hotel rounds out the options with a Senate Board Room suited for smaller professional gatherings.

Matching Capacity to Your Event

Across these venues, capacities run from 15 guests to 2,500, giving planners genuine flexibility. The typical functional range sits between 50 and 300 guests, which covers the majority of social and professional events. Fifteen of the event spaces catalogued seat fewer than 200, making Kollam especially strong for mid-scale functions — team offsites, milestone birthdays, engagement ceremonies, and similar occasions. Three spaces can accommodate over 600 guests, anchored by the Vijaya Convention Centre at the larger end. If you need a boardroom-scale setting, the Senate Board Room at Shah International Hotel starts from as few as 15 attendees.
