Konark's hotel inventory on Spalba currently features 1 listed property, positioned along the coastline near Ramchandi Beach. What the city lacks in volume, it compensates with setting — the available venue spans a notably wide capacity range, from intimate gatherings of 80 to large assemblies of up to 700 guests, and brings together distinctly different event spaces under one roof. For planners seeking a coastal backdrop tied to one of Odisha's most iconic heritage sites, this is a focused but capable stock.
The Venue on the Konark Shoreline
Lotus Resort Konark is the featured hotel property in this category. It operates across three distinct venue types — an Ocean Cafe, a Conference Hall, and a Beachside Lawn — making it suitable for a variety of event formats within a single destination. Whether the requirement is a structured indoor conference or an open-air celebration with sea views, Lotus Resort Konark brings both options to the same address near Ramchandi Beach.
Understanding Capacity at Konark Hotels
The capacity data for hotels in Konark reflects a clear split between intimate and large formats. Two of the venue configurations at the listed property seat fewer than 200 guests, covering corporate meetings, small social gatherings, or family functions that call for a contained setting. The Beachside Lawn configuration scales up to 700, placing it firmly in large-event territory — suitable for weddings, receptions, or cultural programmes that need open space and room to move. For most events, the typical planning range to work within is 80 to 700 guests.
Location: Ramchandi Beach
The sole hotel locality in Spalba's current Konark listing is Ramchandi Beach, a stretch of coastline a short distance from the Sun Temple. This location adds a distinctive character to events — guests arrive with the beach on one side and a heritage landscape on the other. Planners coordinating outstation delegates or multi-day programmes will find the resort setting practical, with accommodation, event spaces, and natural surroundings consolidated in one place. Spalba's 3D virtual tour feature, where available, lets you preview the property's layout before committing to a site visit.
