Katni currently lists 2 enclosed, weather-proof indoor venues on Spalba, spread across the localities of Mission Chowk and Shahdar. The available stock covers a capacity range of 50 to 350 guests and includes a mix of Darbar Halls, Utsav Halls, and a Pool Side setting — a compact but diverse set of options for planners who need a climate-controlled space regardless of season or weather.
The Venues Available in Katni
Both properties bring distinct characters to the table. Hotel Grand Meridian, located in the Mission Chowk area, offers dedicated indoor hall spaces suited to formal gatherings, social functions, and hospitality-led events. Shahdar Jungle Resort - Katni, situated in the Shahdar locality, pairs an enclosed Utsav Hall with a Pool Side setting — making it a distinctly resort-style indoor option with a natural backdrop. Together, the two properties represent the full breadth of what Katni's current indoor venue landscape offers.
Capacity: Matching Your Guest Count
The 50–350 guest capacity range across these venues gives planners meaningful flexibility. One venue is particularly well-suited to intimate gatherings under 200 guests, making it a strong fit for smaller family functions, corporate meetings, or curated celebrations where the guest list is kept close. The upper end of 350 seats means that mid-sized events — such as a sizeable wedding reception or a company-wide townhall — can also be accommodated within an enclosed setting. No venue in the current Katni indoor stock exceeds 350 guests, so for very large gatherings, planners should consider this when shortlisting.
Where These Venues Are Located
Katni's indoor venues are concentrated in two distinct pockets of the city. Mission Chowk is a well-connected central locality, making Hotel Grand Meridian accessible for guests arriving from different parts of the city. Shahdar, on the other hand, offers a more peripheral, resort-adjacent setting that suits events where ambience and a retreat-like feel are priorities. Understanding this geographic split helps in aligning venue location with the profile of attendees expected.
