Kausani's Himalayan panorama makes it one of Uttarakhand's most compelling settings for open-air events. Spalba lists 5 outdoor venues across Kausani, spanning lawns, gardens, and alfresco dining spaces that put the mountain landscape at the centre of any gathering. The stock here is deliberately intimate — every listed property is suited to groups of under 200 — making this a destination that rewards smaller, well-considered events rather than large-scale productions.
The Venue Mix Available in Kausani
The five properties represent a varied range of open-air formats. Sun n Snow Inn, Kausani and Spellmount Resort both offer dedicated lawns and garden spaces, while Suman Royal Resort, Kausani and Nature Valley Resort Kausani bring outdoor restaurant and garden settings suited to dining-centred occasions. Chevron Mountain Villa rounds out the selection with a distinctive villa-style outdoor experience. Across the five, venue types present include Lawns, Gardens, Restaurants, and a Game Zone — each offering a genuinely open-air setting where the natural environment does much of the work.
Capacity: Matching Your Group to the Right Space
Kausani's outdoor venues are sized for focused, personal events. Capacities range from a minimum of 20 guests to a maximum of 350, with the typical booking falling in the 30–50 guest range. All five venues on Spalba sit within the intimate-under-200 bracket — none are configured for large conventions or mass gatherings. This makes them well suited to corporate offsites, milestone birthdays, small social celebrations, and team retreats where the setting and group cohesion matter more than sheer scale.
Where Outdoor Venues Are Located in Kausani
The listed properties are spread across three key pockets of Kausani: the main Kausani township area, Tea Garden Road, and VIP Road. Tea Garden Road venues benefit from proximity to Kausani's iconic tea estate backdrop, lending events a distinctly local character. VIP Road properties tend to offer slightly more secluded settings, while township-area venues combine accessibility with mountain views. When shortlisting, consider travel convenience for your guests alongside the specific outdoor ambience each locality offers.
