Outdoor Venues in Khajuraho

Khajuraho's outdoor venue landscape is compact but built for scale. With 2 open-air venues currently listed on Spalba, both catering to gatherings of 500 to 2,000 guests, this UNESCO-heritage town offers a striking backdrop for events that call for expansive skies and landmark surroundings. Both properties are positioned in Sevagram, Khajuraho's primary venue locality, placing your guests close to the town's most iconic landmarks.

The Venues: Open-Air Options in Khajuraho

The two outdoor venues available here each bring distinct character to large-format events. Ramada Khajuraho offers dedicated lawn spaces well-suited for ceremonies, receptions, and multi-session gatherings. Bundela Resort Khajuraho features its own lawn settings that complement the resort's heritage ambience. Across both properties, the venue types present include a Banquet Hall, Lawn, and a second Lawn space — giving event planners flexibility to configure indoor and outdoor segments as the occasion demands.

Capacity: Built for Large Gatherings

Neither venue is designed for intimate settings — both fall firmly in the large-event bracket. With a capacity range of 500 to 2,000 guests and a typical working range of 500–2,000, these venues suit weddings, milestone celebrations, and corporate gatherings where guest count runs into the hundreds. Planners looking for options under 200 guests will find that Khajuraho's current outdoor stock does not cater to that scale; for smaller or enclosed formats, indoor venues in the city are worth exploring.

Location: Sevagram as the Venue Hub

Both listed outdoor venues are located in Sevagram, the focal neighbourhood for event properties in Khajuraho. This concentration means logistics — guest transfers, vendor access, and accommodation — can be coordinated efficiently across both properties. Being in Sevagram also keeps guests within reach of Khajuraho's heritage attractions, which can meaningfully enhance the overall event experience, particularly for destination gatherings.
