Private Party Venues in Khajuraho

Khajuraho's current stock of exclusive-use private party venues stands at 2 properties, both of which are large-format options capable of hosting gatherings well beyond 600 guests. The available venues — a resort property and a branded hotel — bring together banquet halls and open lawns, giving event planners a meaningful choice of setting within this heritage city.

The Venues Available

The two properties listed for private party bookings in Khajuraho are Ramada Khajuraho and Bundela Resort Khajuraho. Between them, they cover three distinct event spaces: a Banquet Hall, a primary Lawn, and a second Lawn. This combination means organisers can plan an indoor seated function, an open-air celebration, or a multi-space event that uses both — all on an exclusive-use basis with the entire property to themselves.

Capacity Range and Fit

Every private party venue currently listed in Khajuraho falls into the large-event category, with capacities running from 500 to 2,000 guests. Neither property is configured for intimate gatherings under 200. If your event requires the full range of 500 to 2,000 attendees — a wedding reception, a large family function, or a corporate celebration — both Ramada Khajuraho and Bundela Resort Khajuraho are sized to accommodate that scale. Planners looking for smaller, more contained settings will need to consider the alternative categories noted below.

Where Venues Are Located

Both properties are situated in the Sevagram locality of Khajuraho, positioning guests close to the city's central heritage zone. For event attendees travelling from outside Khajuraho, the Sevagram concentration means logistics remain straightforward — a single area to direct guests rather than venues spread across multiple neighbourhoods. Spalba's 3D virtual tours let you inspect the banquet halls and lawns at each property remotely before committing to a site visit.

Staying in the Right Category

Private party venues are specifically for exclusive-use bookings where the space is reserved entirely for your event. If you need a shared or semi-private hall arrangement, party-halls in Khajuraho would be the right starting point. For smaller guest lists that these large venues do not suit, small-party-halls is the appropriate category to explore. Open farmland and countryside settings are listed separately under farmhouse venues in Khajuraho.
