Courtyard Cafe

The Courtyard Cafe is an outdoor, open-air space set within the Accord Chrome Chennai property. This gives events a natural, airy ambiance that differs from the hotel's enclosed banquet or conference spaces. Prospective bookers should check with the hotel regarding weather contingency arrangements, particularly during the Chennai monsoon season.

Specific capacity figures for the Courtyard Cafe have not been independently confirmed and should be verified directly with the Accord Chrome Chennai events team. Capacity is likely to vary depending on the seating configuration — cocktail-style layouts typically accommodate more guests than formal seated dinners. The hotel can provide exact numbers based on your preferred setup.

As the Courtyard Cafe is an integrated part of Accord Chrome Chennai, catering is managed through the hotel's own food and beverage operations. Menu options are expected to include Indian, continental, and regional Tamil Nadu cuisine. The hotel's events team can share detailed menus and customise offerings to suit your event's requirements.

Accord Chrome Chennai is a hotel property with its own in-house catering infrastructure, so external caterers may not be permitted. Whether outside vendors are allowed for specific items — such as a wedding cake or a particular cuisine — should be confirmed directly with the hotel before making any arrangements.

Yes, the Courtyard Cafe's informal, open-air setting makes it a good fit for corporate occasions such as networking evenings, team lunches, and client appreciation events where a relaxed atmosphere is preferred over a conference-room format. The hotel's event support staff can assist with setup and coordination. Specific AV or presentation requirements should be discussed with the events team in advance.

Accord Chrome Chennai is a hotel and does offer guest rooms for those travelling from outside the city or wishing to stay overnight after an event. Room availability and group booking rates for event guests should be discussed with the hotel's reservations team alongside your event booking. This can be particularly convenient for destination celebrations or multi-day corporate events.

Sharing a mood board or theme brief with the team early in the planning process is recommended.

The hotel's events team can clarify what AV equipment is available in-house and whether external AV vendors can be engaged for your event. It is worth discussing your technical needs well in advance, particularly for product launches or presentations.

Unlike the enclosed banquet and conference halls that Accord Chrome Chennai may offer within the property, the Courtyard Cafe is an outdoor space that prioritises a casual, open-air ambiance. This makes it better suited to social gatherings and informal corporate events rather than large-scale conferences or formal dinners requiring fixed seating for many guests. A complete overview of all available event spaces can be obtained from the hotel's events team, who can help match the right venue to your occasion.
