Sundance Lawn

The Sundance Lawn is an outdoor, open-air space set within the landscaped grounds of Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort. This makes it ideal for events that benefit from a natural, open-sky setting, particularly daytime celebrations and evening receptions. Prospective bookers should confirm with the resort's events team what weather contingency arrangements, such as temporary canopies or marquees, are available.

As an open-air lawn, the space is subject to weather conditions, and it is advisable to discuss contingency options with the resort's events team before finalising the booking. The team can advise on available backup spaces within the property or temporary cover solutions that may be arranged. Confirming a weather contingency plan is especially important for events scheduled during Bengaluru's monsoon months.

Yes, Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort has on-site guest accommodation, which is a significant advantage for multi-day events such as destination weddings or residential corporate retreats. Guests attending functions at the Sundance Lawn can stay within the property without needing external transport arrangements. The availability of rooms and any group booking rates should be confirmed directly with the resort's reservations team.

Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort is located in Rajanukunte in north Bengaluru, placing it in the same general corridor as Kempegowda International Airport, which is also situated to the north of the city. The resort is a practical choice for events with guests flying in from other cities. For precise travel time and distance estimates, it is best to check current route conditions or contact the resort directly.

The resort is located in Rajanukunte, within the Yelahanka zone of north Bengaluru, and is accessible via the city's northern arterial roads from areas such as Hebbal and Yelahanka. While it sits away from central Bengaluru's congestion, it maintains reasonable road connectivity. Event planners should factor in travel time when scheduling events and may wish to arrange shuttle services for large guest groups.

The open-air format of the Sundance Lawn lends itself to both ceremony and reception setups, and the resort-style environment suits the full arc of a wedding day from ceremony to dinner and dancing under the open sky. Whether a single continuous event or separate daytime and evening sessions can be accommodated depends on the resort's scheduling and setup timelines. The events team should be consulted to plan the day's flow and any required changeover time.

Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort has in-house catering and events support teams who assist with event planning and on-site food and beverage arrangements. Whether outside catering vendors are permitted is a policy detail that should be confirmed with the resort directly, as this varies by property. Prospective bookers are encouraged to discuss menu options and catering packages with the events team early in the planning process.

The resort's events team provides setup assistance for functions at the Sundance Lawn, which supports planners in coordinating layouts, staging, and overall event flow. The open-air lawn format gives event stylists significant freedom to bring in custom décor, floral arrangements, lighting, and themed setups. Specific inclusions and any restrictions on external décor vendors or structures such as mandaps or marquees should be discussed with the events team.

AV and sound requirements for outdoor events are common to the types of functions the Sundance Lawn hosts, including sangeet ceremonies and corporate presentations. Whether the resort supplies in-house AV equipment or works with preferred external vendors should be clarified with the events team at the time of enquiry. Any noise or sound level considerations relevant to the resort's location in Rajanukunte are also worth discussing.

Availability and pricing for the Sundance Lawn can be enquired about through the official Angsana website at angsana.com or by contacting the resort's events team directly. Pricing will depend on the event type, guest count, date, catering requirements, and any additional services selected. Reaching out early is advisable, particularly for peak wedding and festive season dates.

As a resort property, Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort is expected to have on-site parking available for guests, which is particularly relevant for large outdoor events at the Sundance Lawn where guests typically arrive by car. The capacity and any managed parking arrangements for large events should be confirmed with the resort's team during the planning stage. For very large gatherings, the events team can advise on guest arrival logistics.

The open lawn format within a resort setting makes the Sundance Lawn a good fit for corporate outdoor activities, team-building exercises, and branded experiential events. The resort environment encourages a relaxed energy that contrasts with conventional indoor conference formats, which many corporate organisers find valuable. Specific activity setups and any logistical requirements should be discussed with the resort's events team.

The combination of the Sundance Lawn as an event space and Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort's on-site guest accommodation makes the property well suited to multi-day celebrations or residential corporate retreats. Guests can move between event spaces and their rooms without leaving the property, which helps maintain the atmosphere and flow of the occasion. Full programme planning across multiple days should be coordinated with the resort's events team well in advance.

The Sundance Lawn's open-sky setting and resort surroundings offer a character that a conventional hotel ballroom cannot replicate — natural greenery, open evening skies, and the relaxed ambience of a destination resort form an organic part of the event experience. This appeals particularly to couples wanting their wedding celebrations to feel like a true getaway rather than a formal banquet. The resort's spa and leisure facilities also add an extra dimension of hospitality for guests staying on-site.
