Tentacao Lawn

Tentacao Lawn is an open-air venue set within the tropical garden grounds of Beleza By The Beach. Events are held under the open sky, which makes the space particularly atmospheric for evening functions. Clients planning an event during or around Goa's monsoon season should discuss weather contingency options with the resort.

As an open-air lawn, Tentacao Lawn is exposed to the elements, so weather contingency planning is important — especially for events held between June and September during Goa's monsoon season. Prospective clients should ask the resort whether a covered backup space is available and what the contingency procedure looks like for their specific event date.

Betalbatim, where Beleza By The Beach is located, is in South Goa's Salcete taluka and is generally reachable from Dabolim Airport in under 30 minutes by road, depending on traffic conditions. This relatively short transfer time is a practical advantage for destination weddings and events with a large number of outstation guests flying in.

Madgaon (Margao) Railway Station is the closest major rail junction to Beleza By The Beach and is a short drive from Betalbatim. Madgaon is well connected to cities across India, making it a convenient arrival point for guests travelling by train from Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and beyond.

The open layout of Tentacao Lawn gives decorators and event designers considerable freedom to create bespoke setups using floral installations, draping, fairy lights, and other décor elements. Clients should confirm with the resort whether decoration must be handled by an empanelled vendor or whether outside decorators are permitted on the property.

Beleza By The Beach has an in-house catering team that can curate menus drawing on Goan, Indian, and international cuisine traditions, including traditional Goan seafood spreads and multi-cuisine buffets. Specific menu packages, per-plate pricing, and policies on outside caterers should be confirmed directly with the property's events team, as these details may vary.

Tentacao is a Portuguese word meaning temptation, reflecting the deep Luso-Indian cultural heritage that characterises South Goa and the Salcete region in particular. The name anchors the lawn's identity in the local history of the area, adding a layer of character that is distinct from generic resort event spaces.

Betalbatim is one of South Goa's quieter coastal villages, situated between the beaches of Colva and Majorda in Salcete taluka, and is popular with couples seeking a more relaxed and less commercialised Goa setting. Its proximity to Dabolim Airport and Madgaon Railway Station makes logistics manageable for guests travelling from across India or internationally.

Beleza By The Beach is a resort and does have accommodation on the property, which is a meaningful advantage for multi-day wedding weekends and destination events where guests prefer to stay on-site. The exact number of rooms available and room-block arrangements for events should be confirmed with the resort's reservations or events team.

As a resort property, Beleza By The Beach is expected to have parking available for guests. The specific capacity and any valet arrangements for large event groups should be confirmed with the resort directly, particularly for weddings and parties involving a significant number of vehicles.

Open-air events in Goa, including outdoor lawn functions, are subject to state and local noise regulations, which may include restrictions on amplified music after certain hours. Event organisers should clarify applicable curfew timings and sound limits with Beleza By The Beach before finalising their event schedule and entertainment arrangements.

Prospective clients can reach out to Beleza By The Beach directly through the resort's official website at belezagoa.com to enquire about availability, request a site visit, and receive an event proposal. Pricing for the lawn will vary based on the nature of the event, the number of guests, and the services required.

The lawn's relaxed outdoor setting makes it suitable for informal corporate retreats, team-building events, and sundowner gatherings where a conventional conference environment would feel out of place. For more structured corporate formats requiring AV equipment, presentation setups, or breakout spaces, clients should discuss requirements with the resort to confirm what can be arranged.

Beleza By The Beach's position near the Betalbatim coastline means that evening events on Tentacao Lawn benefit from sea breezes and the ambient coastal atmosphere of South Goa. This natural backdrop — combined with tropical garden surroundings and decorative lighting — is one of the features that distinguishes the lawn from inland or purely urban event spaces.
