Senate

The Senate can typically be arranged in several standard configurations, including theatre-style rows, classroom layout, boardroom setup, and U-shape arrangement, depending on the nature of the event. The final setup will depend on confirmed capacity and the specific requirements of the booking. It is advisable to discuss preferred arrangements with the hotel's events team when making an inquiry.

Capacity for the Senate varies depending on the seating configuration chosen for the event. The events team at Biznotel By Pride Surat can provide exact figures for different layouts upon inquiry. Confirming the configuration and expected headcount early in the planning process helps ensure the space is set up optimally.

Biznotel By Pride Surat handles catering through its own in-house food and beverage team, which allows for coordinated service across meals, refreshments, and special dietary needs. This integrated approach is especially convenient for corporate clients who prefer a single point of contact for event logistics and dining. Whether outside catering vendors are permitted should be confirmed directly with the hotel.

As a corporate-oriented event space within a business hotel, the Senate is expected to offer standard AV support such as a projector or screen, microphone, and sound system. The specific equipment available and any additional technical services should be confirmed with the events team at the time of booking.

Given Surat's standing as a major hub for the textile, diamond, and chemicals industries, the hotel naturally attracts business travellers and corporate planners from these sectors. The Senate's professional setup makes it well suited for trade meetings, industry seminars, and company-level training programmes. However, the space is open to any professional or organizational group requiring a well-managed event environment.

While the Senate is primarily positioned for corporate and professional events, it can also serve smaller private social gatherings where a structured, well-managed venue is preferred. Organizers planning social events should reach out to the hotel's events team to discuss decoration allowances, catering menus, and any specific requirements. The team can advise on whether the Senate or another space within the property is the better fit.

Interested clients can initiate a booking inquiry directly through the hotel by contacting the events or sales team with details of the event date, expected number of guests, preferred seating configuration, and any catering or AV requirements. The team will confirm availability and provide a customized proposal. It is recommended to book well in advance, especially for peak business seasons in Surat.

Standard décor customization for corporate events — such as branded backdrops, table arrangements, floral centrepieces, and themed setups — is typically facilitated through the hotel's events team or approved vendors. The extent of customization permitted within the Senate, including any restrictions on certain décor elements, should be discussed directly with the team when finalizing event details.

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for the Senate are governed by the hotel's events booking policy, which may vary based on the lead time, event size, and specific contractual terms agreed at the time of booking. Clients are advised to review the policy carefully before signing any agreement. The events team at Biznotel By Pride Surat can clarify applicable terms during the inquiry stage.
