Basilica of Bom Jesus
Built in 1605, this red-brick cathedral is a typical Baroque building that houses the remains of the great missionary St. Francis in history. The interior of the church is very spacious, the main color of gold is very atmospheric, with marble floors and inlaid gems, and the altar in the middle is beautifully decorated. The burial chamber of St. Francis is on the right, and the coffin in which the remains are kept is made of sterling silver. In addition, there is an art gallery on the 2nd floor of the church, where you can see the works of local Goa artists.
