Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, India
Louvre 1 is one of the dedicated event venues at Eternity, Kanpur — an IHCL SeleQtions hotel that brings the curated hospitality standards of India's most respected hotel group to Uttar Pradesh's commercial and industrial capital. As part of the SeleQtions portfolio, Eternity is positioned as a hotel with a distinct character rooted in its locale, and Louvre 1 reflects that sensibility: a well-appointed banquet and function space designed to accommodate everything from intimate corporate gatherings to mid-scale social celebrations.
The room carries a clean, contemporary aesthetic with warm lighting and a neutral palette that serves as a flexible canvas for event stylists and décor teams. Whether a host envisions a formal boardroom-style arrangement or a festively decorated reception, the space adapts without resistance. The name draws on the aspirational register the hotel cultivates across its event offerings, and Louvre 1 functions as a standalone room that can be used independently or — depending on the property's configuration — in combination with adjacent spaces to scale up capacity.
Louvre 1 is well suited to the breadth of event types that characterise Kanpur's busy social and business calendar. Corporate clients regularly use it for seminars, training sessions, product presentations, and executive meetings, drawn by the hotel's professional service infrastructure and the credibility that comes with an IHCL-backed property. The social events calendar at Eternity is equally active, with engagements, cocktail evenings, milestone birthday celebrations, and pre-wedding functions among the occasions the space regularly hosts.
For wedding-related programming in particular, the hotel's position within the IHCL SeleQtions network means guests can expect coordinated event planning support, in-house catering drawing on a kitchen experienced in both Indian and continental menus, and the kind of vendor relationships that make multi-day wedding events run smoothly. Louvre 1 fits naturally into a wedding itinerary as a venue for sangeet, mehendi, or a seated dinner when a more intimate scale is preferred over the property's larger banquet options.

Delegates attending corporate events benefit from the hotel's proximity to the city's business districts, while social event hosts appreciate that the address is recognisable and straightforward to reach.
