Manipal, known internationally as a university town, draws a constant flow of academic conferences, institutional events, corporate training programmes, and family celebrations tied to the city's large student and faculty community. The Akash hall is well positioned to serve all of these — its setting within a hotel property means event organisers benefit from the full infrastructure of a professional hospitality team, including dedicated event coordination support, in-house catering, and the reliability of a branded hotel operation.
The Akash hall suits a broad spectrum of events. Corporate planners will find it appropriate for seminars, product launches, board meetings, training sessions, and team off-sites, with the ability to configure seating to match different formats. On the social side, the venue is a practical and well-regarded choice for wedding receptions, engagement ceremonies, birthday celebrations, and family gatherings. The hotel's in-house catering team is capable of delivering both regional Karnataka cuisine and broader multi-cuisine menus, ensuring the food offering can be tailored to the nature and scale of the occasion.
Being part of the Fortune brand — a member of the ITC Hotel Group — also means that quality standards around service, food safety, and event execution are consistent and accountable. For event planners who need a dependable venue in Manipal without the uncertainty of a standalone banquet facility, this institutional backing is a meaningful advantage.
Fortune Inn Valley View sits in Madhav Nagar, one of Manipal's well-connected residential and commercial localities. Manipal itself is located close to Udupi, and the property benefits from proximity to the network of roads linking Manipal to the coastal Karnataka belt. For attendees travelling from out of town, Mangaluru International Airport is the nearest major airport, making the hotel a sensible base for guests who combine event attendance with an overnight or multi-night stay. The property's on-site accommodation means that event organisers can package rooms alongside the event booking — a practical convenience for conferences or weddings with outstation guests.
The Madhav Nagar address also places the hotel within easy reach of Manipal's key institutions, including the Manipal Academy of Higher Education campus, making it a natural first choice for university-linked events and delegations that seek a venue combining professional standards with genuine local accessibility.
