The lawn draws its character from its surroundings: the cool, mist-touched air of the Western Ghats, a canopy of mature trees, and the unhurried pace that has made Chikmagalur one of Karnataka's most sought-after leisure destinations. Whether bathed in daylight or illuminated under string lights and lanterns at dusk, the space carries a natural elegance that few purpose-built banquet halls can replicate. The setting rewards both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations with an outdoor ambience that feels effortlessly curated.
Gad Lawns is well suited to a wide range of occasions. Weddings and wedding-weekend events are a natural fit — the open sky and lush green surroundings provide a ready-made ceremonial backdrop that resonates strongly with couples looking for a destination celebration away from a city venue. The lawn also accommodates corporate retreats, team-building days, sundowners, and social milestones such as milestone birthdays and anniversary dinners. Because the property itself carries the SeleQtions philosophy of culturally rooted, experience-led hospitality, events held here tend to benefit from thoughtful service and locally inspired touches in catering and décor. Guests attending multi-day events can also stay on-site, reducing logistics and keeping the celebration seamlessly under one roof.
