The Turf Lawn at Grape County Eco Resort & Spa is a sprawling open-air event space set against the backdrop of the resort's vineyard landscape in Vadholi, Maharashtra. The lawn's defining character comes from its natural, green surroundings — lush turf underfoot, open skies above, and the gentle contours of the Nashik wine country framing the scene. Unlike a conventional banquet hall, this is a space shaped by its environment: events here feel genuinely connected to the outdoors, making the setting itself a part of the experience. The eco-resort philosophy that runs through the wider property is felt just as strongly on the lawn — unhurried, verdant, and rooted in the landscape rather than imposed upon it.
The Turf Lawn is well suited to a broad range of celebrations and gatherings. It is a natural choice for outdoor weddings and wedding-related ceremonies — sangeets, mehandis, and pheras — where couples want a memorable rural backdrop rather than an urban hotel ballroom. Corporate groups visiting the Nashik region for offsites, team-building retreats, or incentive events also find the open format flexible enough to accommodate stages, projector screens, and round-table dining alike. Social milestones such as milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and sundowner parties translate well to the lawn format, particularly in the cooler months when Maharashtra's Sahyadri foothills evenings are at their most pleasant. The resort's eco setting means the lawn is equally popular with guests who want an event that feels like a destination experience — one that doubles as a countryside getaway for attendees travelling from Pune or Mumbai.
Grape County Eco Resort & Spa sits in Vadholi, a village in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, pinned to the heart of India's foremost wine-producing belt. The resort's rural address means the Turf Lawn is insulated from city noise, offering the kind of quiet that makes outdoor events more relaxed and immersive. Nashik city is accessible from the resort, placing guests within reasonable reach of the railway station and road connections from Mumbai and Pune — both major metropolitan centres — making destination-style events practical for guests travelling from either city. The property's own guest accommodations mean that wedding parties and corporate groups can stay on-site, removing the logistical pressure of coordinating hotel blocks nearby. For event planners, this combination of a scenic outdoor venue, on-site lodging, and genuine distance from urban distraction makes the Turf Lawn one of the more distinctive outdoor event spaces in the Nashik region.

The Turf Lawn is designed for a wide range of outdoor events, including weddings, pre-wedding ceremonies such as sangeets and mehandis, corporate offsites, team-building retreats, and social celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries. The open-air format is also well suited to sundowner parties and incentive gatherings. Organisers looking to add a destination feel to a corporate or social event find the vineyard setting particularly effective.
The Turf Lawn is an open-air lawn space, which means it is exposed to natural weather conditions. Couples and event planners should confirm with the resort's events team what contingency arrangements — such as temporary marquees or alternative indoor spaces — are available in the event of rain. Given that events are most commonly held in the cooler, drier months in the Nashik region, timing can itself reduce weather-related risk.
Exact capacity figures for The Turf Lawn should be confirmed directly with Grape County Eco Resort & Spa, as the numbers can vary based on the event format — seated dinner, cocktail reception, or theatre-style arrangement. Reaching out to the resort's events team with your specific layout requirements will give you the most accurate figure.
Yes, Grape County Eco Resort & Spa has its own guest accommodations on the property, which is a key advantage for destination weddings and corporate retreats. This allows wedding parties and delegates to stay on-site rather than coordinating accommodation elsewhere. The specific room types and availability should be confirmed with the resort when planning your event.

As an eco resort with its own hospitality infrastructure, Grape County is expected to offer catering services for events; however, the specific menus, cuisine options, and whether outside caterers are permitted should be confirmed with the resort's events team. Couples planning wedding banquets or corporate dinners should discuss menu customisation and any dietary requirements in advance.
The open-air turf format of the lawn is generally adaptable to event setups including stages, dance floors, and audio-visual equipment for presentations or live performances. Specific AV infrastructure, sound systems, and technical capabilities should be discussed with the venue's events coordinator before booking. It is worth confirming what the resort provides in-house versus what needs to be arranged through an external vendor.
Given that The Turf Lawn is an outdoor venue in a rural village in Maharashtra, local noise regulations and resort-specific curfew timings may apply to events. It is important to ask the events team about permissible event end times and any restrictions on live music or amplified sound. Confirming this early helps avoid surprises when planning the event programme.
Bookings for The Turf Lawn can be initiated by contacting Grape County Eco Resort & Spa's events or reservations team directly through their official website at grapecounty.in. For weddings and large-scale events, particularly during the peak Nashik winter season, early enquiry is advisable as outdoor lawn venues in popular resort destinations tend to fill up quickly. The team can advise on date availability, deposit requirements, and cancellation terms.

The eco-resort ethos of the wider property emphasises an unhurried, nature-connected atmosphere that is difficult to replicate in a city hotel. This makes the space particularly appealing to couples and planners looking for an event with a strong sense of place.

Specific details about parking capacity and arrangements for large events — such as valet services or shuttle connections — should be confirmed with the resort's team when finalising event logistics.
The open-air turf lawn format provides a blank canvas that is generally well suited to custom décor setups, from floral mandaps for weddings to branded installations for corporate events. Whether external decorators or vendors are permitted on the property, and any associated fees or guidelines, should be confirmed with the resort's events coordinator. Planning décor in consultation with the venue team ensures the setup works well within the outdoor environment.
