Lawn 2

Hoa Resort is located in Shivpuri, approximately 16 kilometres from Rishikesh town in Uttarakhand. The nearest major railway station is Haridwar Junction, and Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the closest commercial airport, connecting to Delhi and other cities. Road transfers from Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun are the most common way guests travel to the property.

Lawn 2 is an open-air outdoor lawn, which means the event experience is directly influenced by weather conditions. Rishikesh receives significant rainfall during the monsoon season, typically from July through September. Event planners are advised to discuss weather contingency arrangements — such as temporary canopies or backup indoor options — directly with the resort team when enquiring about a date.

Yes, the open and flexible layout of Lawn 2 makes it suitable for hosting multiple functions across a wedding celebration, including pre-wedding ceremonies like mehndi and sangeet as well as the wedding ceremony and reception. Whether all functions take place on the same lawn or across different spaces at the resort depends on event size and scheduling. The resort's events team can advise on how best to plan a multi-function celebration on the property.

Hoa Resort has on-site accommodation, which is one of the advantages for groups booking Lawn 2 for destination events. Having guests stay on the property simplifies logistics and allows a multi-day celebration without arranging external hotel transport. For exact room availability, room types, and group booking arrangements, please check directly with the resort.

Details of Hoa Resort's catering policy — including whether in-house catering is mandatory or external vendors are permitted — should be confirmed directly with the events team. Many resorts of this type offer their own catering services with menu customisation options. It is worth asking about both food and beverage packages when requesting a quote.

Confirmed guest capacity figures for Lawn 2 are not publicly listed and can vary depending on the event format — seated dining, cocktail-style gatherings, and ceremony layouts each use space differently. Reaching out to the Hoa Resort events team with your specific event format and expected headcount is the best way to get an accurate capacity confirmation.

The resort's location in Shivpuri places it within easy reach of the Ganges, which is known as one of the premier spots for white-water river rafting in India. Nature walks and yoga sessions are also part of the wider Rishikesh experience and are accessible from the property. Corporate groups often combine an event at Lawn 2 with such activities, making it a practical choice for offsite retreats that go beyond the standard conference format.

Shivpuri sits roughly 16 kilometres upstream from Rishikesh town and is notably quieter and less commercialised than the central areas around Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. This relative seclusion is a draw for destination events where guests appreciate calm surroundings and a more immersive natural environment between functions. The tradeoff is a slightly longer transfer from railway and airport arrival points, which is worth factoring into guest logistics.

Lawn 2 is suitable for corporate retreats and offsite events, not only weddings and social celebrations. The natural setting in Shivpuri is a strong draw for companies looking to move team gatherings away from conventional conference rooms. For AV requirements, presentation setups, or specific corporate event configurations, the resort's team should be consulted in advance.

Guests travelling to Hoa Resort in Shivpuri typically arrive by road from Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun. For specific information on parking capacity and whether valet or managed parking is available for large event groups, it is best to check directly with the resort when planning guest logistics.

As an open-air lawn in a natural setting near a residential and protected river corridor, Lawn 2 may be subject to local noise regulations applicable in Uttarakhand and the Rishikesh region. Specific curfew timings for amplified music or DJ performances should be clarified with the resort team before finalising an event programme. Planning around any applicable restrictions early avoids surprises on the event day.

Open-air venues like Lawn 2 typically allow a range of décor options including floral installations, lighting, draping, and mandap or stage setups. However, some resorts in ecologically sensitive areas like Rishikesh have restrictions on certain materials — for example, single-use plastics or items that could affect the natural surroundings. Décor policies and any limitations should be confirmed with the events team when planning.

Destination wedding venues in popular locations like Rishikesh, particularly those with natural settings and on-site accommodation, tend to see high demand around the peak season from October through March. Booking well in advance — ideally several months ahead — is advisable to secure a preferred date. The resort's events team can advise on current availability and any advance booking requirements.
