Pool Side

The Pool Side is an open-air venue set around the hotel's swimming pool, offering a natural sky-above setting rather than an enclosed banquet environment. This gives events a relaxed, resort-style feel that is quite different from a traditional indoor hall. Guests should enquire with the hotel about weather contingency arrangements for events during monsoon or extreme weather periods.

Specific capacity figures for the Pool Side have not been publicly confirmed, and the number of guests the space can accommodate may vary depending on the seating format chosen — for example, a seated dinner layout will differ from a standing cocktail arrangement. Prospective hosts should reach out to Hotel Deepali directly to discuss the capacity that suits their event format.

Yes, the Pool Side's open-air poolside setting lends itself naturally to pre-wedding functions like mehendi and sangeet ceremonies, where a relaxed, visually distinct environment enhances the celebration. Many couples at hotel properties choose to host these functions outdoors while reserving larger ceremonial events for an indoor space. The team at Hotel Deepali can advise on how best to configure the space for wedding-related occasions.

Since the Pool Side is an outdoor venue, events may be affected by rain or extreme heat, particularly during Madhya Pradesh's monsoon season. It is advisable to discuss backup arrangements — such as canopy or tent cover, or the use of an alternative indoor space within Hotel Deepali — with the events team before confirming a date. Planning ahead for weather is especially important for evening events and wedding functions.

The open-air pool setting provides a versatile canvas that can be dressed up or kept understated depending on the occasion — floral arrangements, fairy lights, draping, and themed décor are all commonly used at poolside venues. Hosts should confirm with Hotel Deepali which décor elements the hotel provides in-house and whether external decorators are permitted. Discussing your vision with the events team early will help ensure the setup aligns with your requirements.

Whether catering is handled exclusively by Hotel Deepali's in-house kitchen or whether external caterers are permitted is something that should be confirmed directly with the hotel. Hotel properties in India typically offer their own catering services as a default, with menu customisation available for events. It is worth discussing dietary requirements, cuisine preferences, and bar service options when making your enquiry.

As the Pool Side is located within Hotel Deepali's premises, guests attending events can generally access the hotel's parking facilities. The exact parking capacity and any arrangements for valet or managed parking for large events should be confirmed with the hotel ahead of the function. Hosts expecting a high volume of vehicles are advised to raise this with the events team during planning.

Hotel Deepali is a hotel property, so accommodation rooms are available on-site for out-of-town guests, which is a practical advantage for multi-day celebrations or events where guests are travelling from other cities. Hosts should contact the hotel to check room availability and any group booking arrangements that may be offered alongside event packages. Having on-site accommodation simplifies logistics considerably for destination-style weddings and milestone celebrations.

Details about the audio-visual and sound equipment available at the Pool Side have not been publicly confirmed. Hosts planning events with live music, DJ performances, or presentations should ask Hotel Deepali's events team about what the venue can provide and whether external sound vendors are permitted. Noise and sound level considerations for an open-air space in a residential locality like Semrabag are also worth discussing in advance.

As an open-air venue in Semrabag, Madhya Pradesh, the Pool Side may be subject to local municipal noise regulations and curfew timings that can affect late-night events with amplified music. The applicable rules and any venue-specific curfew policies should be confirmed directly with Hotel Deepali when planning your event. Being aware of these restrictions early helps in scheduling the programme and managing guest expectations.

The Pool Side offers an open-air, resort-style atmosphere set around the hotel's swimming pool, which creates a visually distinct experience compared to an enclosed banquet hall. This makes it a popular choice for relaxed social events, cocktail evenings, and pre-wedding functions where a casual, celebratory vibe is preferred. Many hosts combine both spaces across a multi-event celebration, using the Pool Side for informal functions and an indoor venue for formal ceremonies.

Pricing for Pool Side events at Hotel Deepali will depend on factors such as the number of guests, the duration of the event, catering requirements, and any additional services requested. Specific pricing is not publicly listed and the best way to receive an accurate quote is to contact Hotel Deepali's events or sales team directly with the details of your occasion. Platforms like Spalba can also assist in connecting you with the venue to request a proposal.
