POOLSIDE

Yes, the Poolside is an open-air venue, which gives it a distinctive, airy character ideal for daytime and evening functions. As with any outdoor space, weather conditions can affect events, particularly during monsoon season in Uttarakhand. Guests should confirm with the hotel what weather contingency arrangements — such as temporary shelters, canopies, or alternative indoor spaces — are available when booking.

Specific capacity figures for the Poolside space have not been published in publicly available sources and should be confirmed directly with the Hotel Gautami Heights events team. Capacity may also vary depending on the event format — for example, a seated dinner will accommodate fewer guests than a standing cocktail reception.

As a full-service hotel property, Hotel Gautami Heights is expected to offer catering services for events hosted at the Poolside venue. The range of menus, cuisine options, and whether outside caterers are permitted should be confirmed with the hotel's events or banqueting team before finalising your booking.

The open-air poolside setting lends itself naturally to decorative elements such as fairy lights, floral arrangements, and draped fabric, all of which translate beautifully against a pool backdrop. Whether couples can bring their own decorators or must work with hotel-empanelled vendors is a detail best confirmed with the events team, as policies can vary.

Yes, the Poolside's open-air, visually vibrant setting makes it a popular choice for pre-wedding functions such as mehendi and sangeet ceremonies, where ambience and space for movement and performance are important. The water and open-sky backdrop add a festive quality that suits celebratory occasions. Specific décor and sound arrangements for such events should be discussed with the hotel team in advance.

Because the Poolside is an open-air venue in a hotel setting, there may be noise guidelines or curfew timings that apply to music and amplified sound, particularly for late-night events. Guests planning live performances, DJ sets, or loud sound systems should clarify permissible hours and decibel levels with the hotel before confirming bookings.

Hotel Gautami Heights Kashipur is a hotel property and offers guest room accommodation on-site, which is a significant advantage for multi-day events such as weddings or extended family gatherings. This allows out-of-town guests to stay, dine, and celebrate within a single property. Room availability and group booking rates should be confirmed with the hotel's reservations team.

Kashipur, located in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, is accessible by road from Delhi and the NCR via National Highway connections, making it a manageable drive for guests travelling from northern India. The city sits between Moradabad and Haldwani, and is generally reachable by both private vehicle and bus services. For precise directions and estimated travel times, the hotel's official website or front desk can provide guidance.

As an established hotel property in Kashipur, Hotel Gautami Heights is expected to have parking facilities available for guests. Whether dedicated event parking or valet service is offered should be confirmed with the hotel ahead of your event, especially for larger gatherings where a high number of vehicles is anticipated.

Yes, the Poolside's relaxed, open-air setting makes it suitable for informal corporate functions such as team outings, networking evenings, and product launch receptions, where a less formal environment helps facilitate conversation and connection. For structured corporate events requiring AV equipment, presentation setups, or conference-style seating, it is advisable to check with the events team about available support.

Details about on-site AV equipment — such as sound systems, projectors, or lighting rigs — available specifically for the Poolside venue are not confirmed in publicly available sources. Event organisers should contact the Hotel Gautami Heights events team to understand what is provided in-house and what may need to be arranged through external vendors.

For weddings and large celebrations, particularly during peak wedding seasons in the region, early booking is advisable to secure the date and allow adequate time for planning, catering coordination, and décor arrangements. The hotel's events team can advise on current availability and any advance booking requirements or deposit policies.

Pricing for the Poolside venue will depend on factors such as the event date, guest count, catering requirements, and any additional services required. Prospective clients are encouraged to reach out to the Hotel Gautami Heights events or banqueting team directly — through the hotel's official website at gautamiheights.com or by phone — to receive a tailored quote.
