Crystal Ballroom

Yes, the Crystal Ballroom is a pillarless banquet space, which means there are no structural columns interrupting sightlines across the floor. This is particularly valuable for events that require a clear stage view, a central dance floor, or an elaborately arranged mandap setup. It also gives decorators and planners greater freedom when designing the room layout.

The ballroom is designed to support multi-format wedding celebrations, including the various ceremonies common to Gujarati weddings such as sangeet, mehendi, and the main reception. The room can be reconfigured between functions to suit different stage, seating, and décor arrangements. The in-house events team can guide couples through layout options for each ceremony.

Yes, the hotel's food and beverage team provides in-house catering for events hosted in the Crystal Ballroom. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu options are available, which is an important consideration for the diverse dietary requirements of Ahmedabad's guests and corporate groups. Menu customisation and dietary preferences should be discussed directly with the catering team during the planning process.

In-house catering at Hotel Novotel Ahmedabad includes vegetarian menu options, which is a key consideration for many families and corporate groups in Ahmedabad. The hotel is situated at Iscon Cross Roads on SG Highway in western Ahmedabad — a well-recognised landmark that most guests across the city and from out of town can navigate to without difficulty. The SG Highway corridor is one of Ahmedabad's most prominent arterial routes, connecting the hotel to residential and business districts such as Satellite, Prahlad Nagar, and Bodakdev. The landmark location reduces the risk of guest confusion that can affect events with large or geographically spread guest lists.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is located in the northern part of Ahmedabad, and Hotel Novotel Ahmedabad is accessible from the airport via SG Highway. The exact travel time will vary depending on traffic conditions and the route taken. Guests travelling from the airport are advised to use the hotel's address at Iscon Cross Roads as their navigation destination, and the hotel's concierge team can assist with transport arrangements.

Hotel Novotel Ahmedabad offers on-site parking, which supports the large guest counts typical of banquet-scale events in the Crystal Ballroom. For events where guests predominantly arrive by personal vehicle — which is common in this part of Ahmedabad — this is a practical advantage. Specific details about parking capacity and any valet services should be confirmed with the hotel directly.

As part of the Novotel brand's internationally benchmarked meetings and events infrastructure, in-house AV capabilities are available at the property. This typically includes sound systems, projection, and lighting support relevant to conferences and large social events. The exact specifications of available equipment should be verified with the hotel's events team when submitting an enquiry.

The Crystal Ballroom's pillarless, open floor plan is designed to accommodate stage setups for both wedding functions and corporate events such as product launches and leadership summits. The unobstructed layout ensures clear sightlines to the stage from all parts of the room. Detailed stage dimensions and positioning options should be discussed with the hotel's events planning team.

Yes, Hotel Novotel Ahmedabad is part of the AccorHotels portfolio, a major international hospitality group. This affiliation means the Crystal Ballroom operates under internationally standardised service and event management protocols. For corporate clients who use Accor's loyalty or meetings programmes, this may offer additional benefits — which should be confirmed directly with the hotel or through the Accor meetings platform.

The Crystal Ballroom is well suited to large-scale corporate events including conferences, annual general meetings, training programmes, and product unveilings. The in-house AV infrastructure and professional banqueting team are aligned with the requirements of business events. Corporate clients should reach out to the hotel's events team to discuss room configuration, AV needs, and delegate catering packages.

Enquiries for the Crystal Ballroom can be submitted through Accor's meetings and events platform at meetings.accor.com or directly through the hotel's events team. The team will be able to provide availability, pricing, and package details based on the event date, guest count, and specific requirements. Early enquiry is recommended for peak wedding and conference seasons in Ahmedabad.

The ballroom's contemporary interiors — featuring high ceilings and refined, neutral décor — are designed to serve as a backdrop that can be layered with a host's own branding, floral arrangements, or themed décor without visual conflict. This makes the space equally appropriate for corporate events requiring branded setups and weddings with elaborate decoration schemes. Specific décor policies and any restrictions should be confirmed with the venue's events team.

Hotel Novotel Ahmedabad is a full-service hotel with guest rooms available for attendees travelling from outside the city or requiring overnight accommodation. Booking a room block for wedding or corporate event guests is a common arrangement at the property. Room availability and group booking rates should be discussed with the hotel's reservations or events team at the time of venue enquiry.
