The North Lawn is an open-air event space set within Hotel Sandy Tower, a well-regarded hospitality property located in the Jaydev Vihar neighbourhood of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. As one of the city's more established hotel addresses, Hotel Sandy Tower offers the North Lawn as a dedicated outdoor venue that pairs the ease of a full-service hotel with the open, airy atmosphere that only an outdoor setting can provide. The lawn's natural setting lends itself to events that benefit from natural light, open skies, and a sense of occasion that enclosed banquet halls rarely replicate.
The space carries a character that feels both relaxed and refined — well-suited to hosts who want their guests to feel comfortable while still experiencing a polished, professionally managed event. Whether dressed in floral mandaps and fairy lights for a wedding celebration or arranged with round tables and a projection screen for a corporate gathering, the North Lawn adapts readily to a wide range of event formats and aesthetic preferences.
The North Lawn is particularly well-suited to weddings and wedding-related functions — from mehendi and sangeet ceremonies to full wedding receptions — where an open-air setting adds atmosphere and photographic appeal. The outdoor format makes it equally appropriate for milestone birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, and festive social gatherings where guests appreciate the freedom of an open environment.
On the corporate side, the lawn can accommodate product launches, team events, and evening networking receptions that benefit from a less formal setting than a traditional conference room. The hotel's in-house services support event hosts with catering, décor coordination, and logistical assistance, reducing the planning burden for organisers. Guests attending events at the North Lawn also have access to the broader amenities of Hotel Sandy Tower, including dining facilities and guest accommodation, which is a practical advantage for outstation attendees.
Jaydev Vihar is one of Bhubaneswar's prominent residential and commercial localities, well connected to the city's key landmarks, business districts, and transit points. Hotel Sandy Tower's position within this neighbourhood makes the North Lawn accessible from across the city, and guests arriving from outside Bhubaneswar can reach the property without difficulty, given the area's good road connectivity. Bhubaneswar Railway Station and Biju Patnaik International Airport are both within the broader city, making the venue reachable for guests travelling from elsewhere in Odisha or beyond.
For event hosts considering an outdoor venue in Bhubaneswar, the North Lawn at Hotel Sandy Tower offers a combination that is genuinely useful: a professionally staffed hotel environment, outdoor event space with room to create, and a central-enough location to be convenient for most guest lists. It is the kind of setting that suits hosts who want the warmth and openness of a lawn event without sacrificing the reliability and support structure of an established hotel.
