The Pool Lawn at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin
The Pool Lawn at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin is an open-air event space set within the resort's expansive grounds in Nong Kae, on the southern stretch of Hua Hin's coastline in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. True to its name, the space unfolds alongside the resort's pool area, offering a relaxed yet polished outdoor setting framed by tropical landscaping. Natural light, open skies, and the resort's lush greenery give the lawn a distinctive character that few indoor venues can replicate — making it especially compelling for events that benefit from an al fresco atmosphere in a full-service resort environment.
The space carries the understated elegance that defines Hyatt Regency properties globally, while feeling thoroughly local in its connection to the landscape and the mild coastal climate of the Gulf of Thailand. Whether bathed in golden afternoon light or set aglow under the evening sky, the Pool Lawn shifts in mood across the day, lending itself naturally to different event formats and timings.
Events & Occasions
The Pool Lawn is well suited to a diverse range of social and corporate events. Outdoor wedding receptions and sundowner cocktail parties are natural fits, as are gala dinners, team-building gatherings, product launches, and resort-style corporate retreats. The open layout allows for flexible configuration — from intimate receptions to larger banquet-style arrangements — and the surrounding resort infrastructure supports seamless event delivery, with access to the property's catering, audiovisual, and event management resources.
Being part of Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, the Pool Lawn benefits from the full complement of the resort's event services. The property's dedicated events team can assist with everything from décor and catering coordination to technical setup, allowing planners to tailor the space to a specific vision without the complexity of coordinating multiple external vendors.
Location & Accessibility
Hyatt Regency Hua Hin is located in Nong Kae, Prachuap Khiri Khan — a quieter, more residential pocket south of central Hua Hin that appeals to guests seeking a tranquil retreat without being far from the town's amenities. Hua Hin itself is approximately 200 kilometres south of Bangkok, making it accessible by road, rail, or domestic transfer for both local and international attendees.
The resort's position in this part of the coast means events at the Pool Lawn are set in a genuinely peaceful environment, away from the bustle of the main tourist strip. For event planners, this translates to fewer logistical distractions and a more immersive experience for guests. The property also offers on-site accommodation, so multi-day events, destination weddings, and corporate retreats can be planned with the confidence that guests have quality rooms directly on-site, eliminating the need for external hotel blocks.
Choosing the Pool Lawn means choosing a setting where the resort's hospitality infrastructure, the natural beauty of the Thai coast, and the flexibility of an open outdoor format come together in a single, cohesive experience.
