Lawn - 1 at Park Plaza Jodhpur is an outdoor event space that brings the warmth of Rajasthan's open skies to every celebration. Set within the hotel's Air Force Area address in Jodhpur, the lawn offers a natural, garden-style backdrop that feels distinctly different from a conventional banquet hall — ideal for hosts who want an event defined by fresh air, ambient lighting, and the character of the region. The surrounding landscape of Jodhpur, with its iconic sandstone architecture and the distant silhouette of Mehrangarh Fort visible from across the city, lends an unmistakable sense of place to any gathering held here.
The space carries a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Whether dressed up with floral mandaps and fairy lights for a wedding or arranged with round banquet tables for a corporate dinner, the lawn adapts to the tone the organiser sets. Its outdoor format means that natural light plays a significant role during daytime events, while the evening setting — enriched with decorative lighting — creates an atmosphere that enclosed venues simply cannot replicate.
Lawn - 1 is particularly well-suited to wedding-related functions: mehendi ceremonies, haldi rituals, sangeet nights, and wedding receptions all benefit from the unconfined, open format that a lawn provides. Large family gatherings, milestone birthday celebrations, and anniversary parties also translate well to this setting, where guests can move freely and the layout can be customised without the constraints of four walls.
On the corporate side, the lawn works for evening networking events, outdoor product launches, team gatherings, and sundowner sessions. The Park Plaza brand — operated under the Sarovar Hotels portfolio in India — is experienced in delivering professional event services, and the hotel's events team can work with planners to configure the space for a broad range of formats. Catering, décor coordination, and audiovisual requirements are typically handled through the hotel, though specific vendor policies and package details should be confirmed directly with the property.
Park Plaza Jodhpur occupies a prominent position in the Air Force Area, one of Jodhpur's well-connected and relatively quieter residential and institutional zones. The location provides convenient access from the city centre, and Jodhpur Junction railway station and Jodhpur Airport are both reachable within a reasonable distance — making the hotel practical for outstation guests attending multi-day events. The Blue City's key landmarks, including Mehrangarh Fort and the Umaid Bhawan Palace, are within the broader city and accessible by road for guests who wish to combine their event visit with sightseeing.
The hotel itself offers in-house accommodation, so guests attending events at Lawn - 1 can stay on-site, which is a meaningful convenience for destination weddings and conferences that draw attendees from outside Jodhpur. Parking is available at the property, and the hotel's location within a structured urban zone generally makes arrival straightforward for both private vehicles and hired transport.
