Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, India, India
Vedam is an elegantly appointed event venue within Pearl Resort Silvassa, a resort property set in Silvassa — the green, unhurried capital of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The name Vedam evokes a sense of timeless knowledge and sacred tradition, and the space carries that spirit into its design: a refined, purposeful setting that balances contemporary comfort with a sense of occasion. Whether the gathering is intimate or expansive, Vedam offers an environment where every detail feels considered rather than incidental.
The venue is well suited to events that demand both atmosphere and functionality. Its interiors are finished to a standard that supports formal occasions without feeling austere, making it equally at home for a corporate conference, a milestone celebration, or a wedding reception. Pearl Resort Silvassa's broader property — lush, resort-style grounds in a region known for its forests and relative calm compared to nearby metropolitan centres — lends Vedam a sense of retreat that many urban venues simply cannot replicate. Guests arrive not just at a room but at a destination, which elevates the entire event experience.
Vedam is positioned to host a broad spectrum of events. Corporate clients will find it well suited to seminars, board meetings, team off-sites, and product presentations, where the resort surroundings add a productive remove from city distractions. On the social side, the space works naturally for wedding functions — whether a mehendi, sangeet, reception, or pre-wedding dinner — as well as anniversaries, milestone birthday celebrations, and family gatherings. The resort setting in Silvassa also makes it a compelling choice for day-long or multi-day events, since guests can be accommodated on-site and the transition between event and leisure is seamless.
The venue's team is experienced in tailoring setups to specific event formats, from theatre-style configurations for presentations to banquet arrangements for seated dinners. Décor, audio-visual support, and catering are areas where the property's hospitality infrastructure comes into play, and prospective hosts are encouraged to discuss their precise requirements with the events team to understand the full scope of what Vedam can deliver.
Silvassa sits at a crossroads that makes it genuinely convenient for guests travelling from both Gujarat and Maharashtra. The city of Vapi, which has a railway station on the Western Railway mainline, is among the closest major transit points, and the region is well connected by road to Surat, Mumbai, and other commercial centres in western India. For guests driving from Mumbai, the journey typically runs along NH 48, placing Silvassa within manageable distance for a weekend or extended stay.
Pearl Resort Silvassa's location within this territory means that Vedam benefits from the quieter, greener character of the Union Territory — a genuine change of scene from the industrial corridors nearby, and a meaningful backdrop for events where the setting is part of the experience.

Popular event dates, especially for wedding functions and holiday weekends, tend to fill quickly at resort venues. Booking timelines and any deposit or confirmation requirements can be clarified when you make your initial enquiry.
Silvassa is known for its forested, relatively calm environment within the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, offering a genuine change of scene from the industrial corridors and urban density of nearby Maharashtra and Gujarat. Hosting an event at Vedam in this setting means guests experience a destination feel — something a city banquet hall cannot replicate — while still remaining within practical driving distance of major centres like Mumbai and Surat. This balance of accessibility and retreat is a key reason event planners choose the resort.
Enquiries about hosting an event at Vedam can be directed to Pearl Resort Silvassa through their official website at pearlresortsilvassa.com, where contact details for the property are listed.
