The Pool Side venue at Royale De Casa Guwahati offers an open-air setting that brings a distinctly relaxed yet stylish energy to events in the city. Set within the hotel's premises in the Wireless neighbourhood of Guwahati, Assam, this outdoor space is anchored by the property's swimming pool, creating a scenic, resort-like backdrop that immediately distinguishes it from conventional banquet halls. The natural light, open skies, and reflective water element combine to give events here a breezy, celebratory feel that is difficult to replicate indoors. Whether dressed up with floral arrangements and fairy lights or kept minimal for a corporate sundowner, the space adapts to the mood of the occasion.
The Pool Side is well suited to a range of social and professional gatherings that benefit from an alfresco atmosphere. Cocktail parties, engagement ceremonies, birthday celebrations, anniversary dinners, and pre-wedding functions are natural fits, where guests can mingle freely against the glow of poolside lighting as the evening progresses. The setting also works for corporate events such as product launches, networking evenings, and sundowner receptions, where the open environment encourages informal conversation and a less formal dynamic than a closed boardroom or conventional banquet hall. Seasonal celebrations and themed parties translate particularly well here, as the outdoor canvas offers organisers the freedom to build a distinct visual identity for their event. Guests seeking an event experience that feels festive and memorable — rather than functional — will find the Pool Side a compelling choice.
Royale De Casa Guwahati is located in the Wireless area of Guwahati, a city that serves as the commercial and cultural gateway to Northeast India. Being positioned within a hotel property means that the Pool Side benefits from the full support infrastructure of a professional hospitality operation — trained event staff, in-house catering, and access to the hotel's broader facilities. Guests travelling to attend an event here can also make use of the hotel's accommodation, making the venue convenient for occasions where out-of-town attendees are expected. The hotel's Guwahati address places it within reach of the city's key commercial corridors, and the availability of on-site parking within a hotel property reduces logistical concerns for guests arriving by car. For event planners looking for a venue that combines the scenic appeal of an outdoor space with the reliability and service standards of an established hotel, the Pool Side at Royale De Casa delivers on both fronts.

Capacity at the Pool Side will vary based on the event format — seated dinners, standing cocktail receptions, and theatre-style setups each accommodate different numbers of guests. For confirmed capacity figures specific to your event layout, it is best to get in touch with the hotel's events or banquet team directly.
As part of Royale De Casa Guwahati, the Pool Side has access to the hotel's in-house catering and kitchen infrastructure. The open-air poolside setting provides a flexible canvas for a range of décor styles, from fairy lights and floral draping for social events to more understated setups for corporate occasions. Event planners are encouraged to discuss décor preferences and any restrictions — such as rules around candles near the pool — with the venue team during the planning phase.
The Pool Side is well suited to pre-wedding celebrations such as cocktail evenings, engagement parties, and similar social functions that benefit from an alfresco, resort-like backdrop. The poolside setting and evening ambiance lend themselves naturally to festive, photogenic occasions.
