Poolside Area

The Poolside Area is an open-air, outdoor event space situated within the resort grounds alongside the pool. Because it is outdoors, event experiences are closely linked to the natural coastal environment of Phú Yên, including open sky and tropical surroundings. Guests planning events should discuss weather contingency arrangements directly with the resort's events team.

As an outdoor space, the Poolside Area is subject to weather conditions, and Phú Yên's climate can include seasonal rainfall. It is strongly recommended to ask the Stelia Beach Resort events team about available shelter options, backup indoor spaces, or other contingency arrangements when planning an outdoor event here.

Specific capacity figures for the Poolside Area vary depending on the event format — seated dinners, cocktail receptions, and standing events all have different configurations. For accurate numbers suited to your event style, it is best to reach out to Stelia Beach Resort's events team directly with your requirements.

As an outdoor venue within a functioning resort, the Poolside Area may be subject to noise guidelines and time-of-night restrictions in order to respect other guests on the property. Clients planning events with live music, DJs, or amplified sound should confirm applicable rules and any curfew timings with the events team before booking.

Stelia Beach Resort has its own food and beverage facilities as part of the resort operation, which typically extend to event catering. Whether packages include set menus, buffet options, or bespoke dining experiences for poolside events should be confirmed with the catering and events team, as offerings may vary by event type and group size.

The open-air nature of the Poolside Area allows for considerable flexibility in décor and setup, from lounge furniture arrangements and floral styling to branded backdrops and stage configurations for live entertainment. Clients are encouraged to discuss their specific vision with the resort's events team to understand what is possible within the space's layout and guidelines.

Event AV requirements — such as sound systems, microphones, lighting rigs, and screens — should be discussed directly with Stelia Beach Resort's events team, as availability and specifications for the outdoor poolside setting may differ from indoor venues. The team can advise on what is provided in-house and what may need to be arranged through an external supplier.

Stelia Beach Resort is located in Phường 9, Tuy Hoa City, and Tuy Hoa's Đông Tác Airport serves the city with domestic flights connecting to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and other Vietnamese hubs. The precise travel time between the airport and the resort should be confirmed with the property or via local map services, as road conditions can vary.

As a resort property, Stelia Beach Resort is expected to have on-site parking available for guests. The specific capacity and any arrangements for larger event groups — such as reserved bays or overflow parking — should be confirmed with the resort's team when finalising event logistics.

Stelia Beach Resort is a full resort property with guest accommodation, making it well suited to events where attendees are travelling from other cities and wish to stay on-site. Groups interested in room blocks or package deals combining accommodation with event space should discuss availability and rates with the resort's sales or reservations team.

Yes, the Poolside Area's open-air, tropical resort setting makes it a popular choice for pre-wedding cocktail receptions and welcome dinners for guests travelling from outside Phú Yên. The resort environment and coastal surroundings add a destination quality that complements the celebratory nature of these events. Couples should speak with the events team about coordinating poolside functions alongside other wedding-related spaces at the resort.

Booking procedures, deposit requirements, and recommended lead times are best confirmed directly with Stelia Beach Resort's events or sales team, as they can vary depending on the time of year and event size. For popular dates — particularly during peak holiday periods or Phú Yên's dry season — earlier enquiry is generally advisable to secure availability.

Phú Yên province, including Tuy Hoa, has a tropical climate with a distinct rainy season typically from around October to December and a drier, sunnier period running through the earlier months of the year. For outdoor poolside events, the dry season generally offers more predictable conditions, though the resort team can advise on the best timing based on current seasonal patterns.

Prospective clients can contact Stelia Beach Resort directly through the official website at steliabeachresort.com to request an event proposal or speak with the events team. Providing details such as the event type, expected guest count, preferred date, and any specific requirements will help the team put together an accurate and tailored quotation.
