Pool Side

The Pool Side is an outdoor, open-air venue set around the hotel's pool area, which gives it its distinctive alfresco character. Prospective bookers should confirm with the hotel's events team whether any weather-contingency arrangements, such as temporary canopies or tent structures, are available for monsoon-season events.

Specific capacity figures for the Pool Side venue are best confirmed directly with the Surya Palace Hotel events team, as the layout and setup style — seated dinner, cocktail, or mixed — can significantly affect how many guests the space comfortably accommodates. The hotel can advise on the optimal configuration for your event type and headcount.

Surya Palace Hotel is a full-service property in Sayajigunj with its own catering operation, and events at the Pool Side typically benefit from this in-house capability. For specific menu options, cuisine styles, and whether outside caterers are permitted, the events team should be contacted for current policy and packages.

The open-air poolside setting lends itself to a range of décor treatments, including floral canopies, themed backdrops, string lighting, and customised buffet setups along the perimeter. Whether you use the hotel's recommended décor vendors or your own, it is advisable to confirm any restrictions or requirements with the events team in advance.

Unlike the hotel's indoor banquet and conference venues, the Pool Side offers an outdoor, alfresco environment set against the hotel's pool area, creating a more relaxed and visually distinctive atmosphere. This makes it particularly popular for celebratory social events and informal corporate receptions where guests benefit from open-air movement and ambience.

Vadodara experiences a monsoon season typically between June and September, which can affect open-air events. Prospective clients planning events during this period should discuss weather-contingency arrangements and backup options with the hotel's events team well in advance of their booking.

Vadodara Airport connects the city to major Indian metros, and the hotel's location in Sayajigunj keeps it within the city's general catchment area for airport transfers. Guests and event organisers should confirm current transfer times and options directly with the hotel, as these can vary based on route and time of day.

As a full-service hotel property in Sayajigunj, Surya Palace Hotel is expected to have parking facilities available for guests. Event planners should confirm the parking capacity, any charges, and arrangements for large-group events with the hotel team when finalising their booking.

Open-air venues in urban settings are often subject to local noise guidelines and municipal curfew rules that can affect music and event timings. Prospective bookers should raise the question of sound restrictions and latest permitted event end times with the Surya Palace Hotel events team during the planning stage.

Surya Palace Hotel is a hotel property and therefore offers guest room accommodation on-site, which is a practical advantage for events where attendees are travelling from out of town. Details on room availability, room block arrangements, and any special rates for event guests should be discussed with the hotel's reservations team.

As a professional hotel venue, Surya Palace Hotel supports its event spaces with operational and technical assistance, and ambient lighting is part of the Pool Side's appeal. Specific AV equipment, sound systems, and additional lighting setups available for the outdoor space should be confirmed with the events team, as outdoor configurations may differ from indoor arrangements.

Availability and pricing for the Pool Side venue can be enquired about directly through the Surya Palace Hotel events or reservations team, accessible via the official website at suryapalace.com. It is advisable to provide your preferred date, expected guest count, and event type to receive an accurate proposal tailored to your requirements.
