The Poolside Lawn is an open-air venue set within the resort's landscaped grounds alongside the swimming pool. Because it is outdoors, weather conditions — particularly during the monsoon season — are an important planning consideration. The Taj Puri events team can advise on appropriate contingency arrangements and alternative indoor options at the property depending on the time of year.

Puri enjoys warm, largely sunny weather for much of the year, and the months between October and March are generally considered the most comfortable for outdoor events at the Poolside Lawn. This period avoids the summer heat and the June-to-September monsoon season. Guests planning events outside this window are encouraged to discuss weather contingency plans with the resort's events team.

Yes, the Taj culinary team at Taj Puri Resort & Spa is available to curate food and beverage menus for events held at the Poolside Lawn. The Poolside Lawn's open-air setting, tropical landscaping, and ambient resort lighting make it a popular choice for both wedding ceremonies and reception dinners. The venue is particularly photogenic during golden-hour ceremonies, and the Taj Puri events team can coordinate décor, catering, and logistics for both functions. It is advisable to confirm availability and layout options with the events team early, especially during the peak October-to-March season.
