Sanskaar Upvan

Sanskaar Upvan is an open-air lawn venue set within the landscaped grounds of The Aanandam Hotel Resort. Its outdoor format allows for flexible décor setups, including mandap installations, stage arrangements, and large seating layouts that a covered hall would not easily accommodate.

Specific capacity figures for Sanskaar Upvan have not been published on the official website and should be confirmed directly with The Aanandam Hotel Resort's events team. Capacity will vary based on the seating style chosen — for example, a theatre layout, a seated dining arrangement, or an open cocktail-style setup will each accommodate different guest counts.

Because Sanskaar Upvan is an open-air space, events planned during Madhya Pradesh's monsoon season or peak summer months should account for weather variability. Canopy, shamiana, or tent coverage options may be available and should be discussed with the resort's events team at the time of booking to ensure the celebration is not disrupted.

The Aanandam Hotel Resort is a full-service hotel resort, which means guests attending events at Sanskaar Upvan can stay on the property itself — a practical benefit for multi-day wedding celebrations. Room types and availability should be confirmed with the reservations team, as block bookings for wedding parties may require advance planning.

The name Sanskaar Upvan translates roughly as a garden of values and traditions, reflecting the space's orientation toward culturally rooted Indian ceremonies and celebrations. This makes it particularly meaningful for families hosting traditional wedding rituals, where the setting itself carries a sense of occasion and heritage.

Itarsi Junction is one of the major railway junctions in central India and serves as the nearest railway station to The Aanandam Hotel Resort. It is well-connected to cities including Bhopal, Nagpur, and other destinations across the region, making it convenient for outstation guests travelling by train.

The nearest commercial airport is Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Guests flying in can then travel to Itarsi by road or rail; the resort can assist with guidance on transfer options, which should be confirmed when making a booking.

The Aanandam Hotel Resort's out-of-town location in Gram Raisalpur means ample open parking is available, which is a practical advantage for events drawing guests from across the region who arrive by private vehicle. Specific parking capacity and valet arrangements should be confirmed with the property directly.

Yes, Sanskaar Upvan's open-air format and spacious layout make it well-suited for pre-wedding celebrations such as mehendi and sangeet evenings, where guests naturally spread out and music and dance have room to fill the space. Families planning multi-function wedding packages should discuss scheduling and setup requirements with the events team in advance.

As a full-service hotel resort, The Aanandam is expected to offer in-house catering services for events hosted at Sanskaar Upvan, though the specific menus, cuisine options, and policies on outside catering vendors should be confirmed directly with the resort. It is advisable to discuss catering requirements — including menu customisation for large wedding parties — at the time of enquiry.

The Aanandam Hotel Resort's hospitality team assists with event setup and can help coordinate décor arrangements to suit the occasion. For specific elements such as floral arrangements, lighting, stage or mandap construction, and furniture layout, prospective hosts should discuss their requirements with the events team to understand what is provided in-house and what can be arranged through external vendors.

Sanskaar Upvan is located on the outskirts of Itarsi in Gram Raisalpur, which provides a relatively open setting compared to city-centre venues. Any applicable local noise guidelines or curfew timings for outdoor events — particularly for late-evening celebrations with live music or DJs — should be confirmed with the resort's events team before finalising the event plan.

Wedding season in Madhya Pradesh, particularly around auspicious dates in the winter months, sees high demand for lawn venues. It is advisable to enquire and confirm a date as early as possible — ideally several months in advance — to secure preferred dates and allow adequate time for planning catering, décor, and guest accommodation. The resort's events team can advise on current availability.

Pricing for Sanskaar Upvan is not listed publicly and will depend on factors such as the event date, guest count, catering requirements, and any additional services. Interested hosts can reach out to The Aanandam Hotel Resort through the official website at theaanandam.in to request a personalised quote and check availability.
