Raaz

Yes, Raaz is positioned within The Cabbana Resort and Spa, which makes it a practical choice for destination weddings where the couple and their guests want to stay, celebrate, and unwind in one location. The resort environment — with its landscaped grounds, spa, and hospitality services — provides a self-contained experience across multiple wedding functions. Families can enquire with the resort's events team about packages that bundle the venue, accommodation, and catering.

The Cabbana Resort and Spa is located in Chaheru, on the outskirts of Phagwara in Punjab's Doaba region. Phagwara is well connected by road to Jalandhar and Ludhiana, making it accessible from across the Punjab-Haryana corridor. Guests travelling from farther afield can note that Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar serves the region.

Phagwara Junction is the nearest railway station for guests arriving by rail to attend an event at Raaz. Phagwara is served by trains running along major routes connecting Punjab to Delhi and other key cities. Guests should arrange local transport from the station to the resort in Chaheru; the events team can advise on transfer options when making a booking.

Specific capacity figures for Raaz — including seated dining and standing reception arrangements — should be confirmed directly with The Cabbana Resort and Spa's events team, as configurations can vary depending on the setup style chosen. Contacting the venue with your expected guest count is the most reliable way to determine whether the space fits your event.

The Cabbana is a resort property, and on-site accommodation is available for guests attending events at Raaz, which is one of the key advantages of choosing this venue for multi-day celebrations or corporate retreats. Guests can transition seamlessly between the event space, their rooms, and the resort's other amenities. Room availability and group booking rates should be discussed with the reservations team well in advance, especially for large weddings.

As a full-service resort, The Cabbana Resort and Spa is expected to offer in-house catering services for events hosted at Raaz. Whether outside caterers are permitted is a detail that varies by property policy and should be confirmed with the events team before making any external arrangements. Discussing menu preferences, dietary requirements, and service style at the time of enquiry will help clarify all catering options.

The Cabbana Resort and Spa features landscaped outdoor areas alongside its indoor event facilities, and the resort setting is part of what makes Raaz appealing for occasions that benefit from an open-air element — such as cocktail receptions or sangeet functions. Whether specific outdoor spaces can be combined with Raaz for a single event should be confirmed with the property's events team. Weather contingency arrangements for outdoor components are worth discussing during the planning stage.

The specific audio-visual equipment and in-house décor options available at Raaz should be confirmed with The Cabbana Resort and Spa's events team, as offerings can differ by package and event type. Many resort venues provide basic AV infrastructure such as sound systems, projection, and lighting, while décor is often arranged through preferred vendor partnerships. It is advisable to share your technical and aesthetic requirements early in the planning process.

As a resort property in Chaheru, The Cabbana Resort and Spa is expected to have on-site parking available for event guests. The capacity of the parking area and any arrangements for large gatherings — such as attendant parking or overflow provisions — should be confirmed with the venue when finalising event logistics.

Raaz at The Cabbana Resort and Spa is well suited to corporate events, including conferences, leadership summits, team-building retreats, and product launches. The resort setting naturally supports the kind of focused yet relaxed environment that off-site corporate gatherings aim to create, and the availability of on-site accommodation means attendees can be fully present without commuting. Corporate clients should reach out to the events team to discuss room setup options, AV requirements, and delegate packages.

The Cabbana Resort and Spa includes a spa as part of its resort amenities, which is an added benefit for guests attending multi-day events or destination weddings at Raaz. Access arrangements for event guests — whether included in a package or available at an additional charge — should be confirmed with the resort directly. This facility is particularly valued by wedding parties looking for pre-event relaxation or post-celebration recovery.

For weddings, particularly multi-day celebrations that also require room blocks, booking Raaz as early as possible is strongly recommended — popular dates in the Punjab wedding season tend to fill quickly. Many families begin their venue conversations six months to a year in advance to secure their preferred dates. The events team at The Cabbana Resort and Spa can advise on current availability and any advance booking requirements.

Pricing at Raaz will depend on factors such as the date, guest count, event duration, catering requirements, accommodation needs, and any additional services selected from the resort. The best way to receive an accurate quote is to contact The Cabbana Resort and Spa's events team directly with the details of your event. The resort's official website at hotelcabbana.com provides contact information to initiate an enquiry.

Unlike a standalone city banquet hall, Raaz is embedded within The Cabbana Resort and Spa in Chaheru, meaning guests experience the full resort environment — landscaped grounds, a spa, accommodation, and integrated hospitality — rather than simply attending a hall booking. This continuity is especially valuable for weddings and corporate retreats where the event experience extends beyond the main function itself. For planners, having catering, accommodation, and event services managed under one resort umbrella also significantly simplifies vendor coordination.
