Lawn Gazebo

The Lawn Gazebo is an open-air venue combining an open lawn area with a gazebo structure, making it an outdoor event space. This gives events a natural, al fresco character set against the deodar forests and hills of Naldehra. Prospective bookers should enquire about weather contingency options, particularly for events planned during the monsoon or winter months.

Exact capacity details for the Lawn Gazebo are best confirmed directly with The Manor Sports & Wellness Hotel's events team, as figures can vary depending on the event format and seating arrangement. The team will be able to advise on the maximum number of guests the space can comfortably accommodate for different setups such as seated dinners, receptions, or ceremony layouts.

Naldehra, where The Manor Sports & Wellness Hotel is located, is approximately 22 kilometres from Shimla. This makes it accessible from Shimla's transport connections while offering a quieter, more secluded hill-station atmosphere. Guests travelling by road from Shimla can typically reach the property in around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Yes, The Manor Sports & Wellness Hotel is a full-service resort with guest rooms, so attendees and family members can be accommodated on-site. This is a significant advantage for destination weddings and corporate retreats where organisers prefer to keep all guests under one roof. Room availability and block-booking options for events should be confirmed with the reservations team.

Naldehra experiences a Himalayan climate with cool temperatures for much of the year, but the monsoon season (typically June to September) and winter months can bring rain or snow that may affect outdoor events. Event planners are strongly advised to discuss weather contingency arrangements — such as covered backup options — with The Manor's team before confirming dates. Choosing spring or autumn months is often a popular strategy for outdoor events in this region.

The Lawn Gazebo is a popular choice for destination wedding ceremonies and pre-wedding rituals, offering an open-sky setting surrounded by the natural landscape of Naldehra's deodar forest hills. Couples appreciate the combination of scenic mountain backdrops and the resort's on-site accommodation, which allows guests to stay and celebrate across multiple days. The Manor's events team can walk couples through decoration, setup, and scheduling options.

As a full-service resort, The Manor Sports & Wellness Hotel is expected to offer in-house catering services for events at the Lawn Gazebo. Whether external caterers or specific cuisines can be arranged should be discussed and confirmed with the hotel's events or food and beverage team, as policies can vary.

The Manor Sports & Wellness Hotel is specifically branded around sports and wellness, and its facilities are available to resort guests, including those attending events. This makes it particularly appealing for corporate retreats or multi-day gatherings where organisers want to offer recreational activities alongside formal programming. Specific facility access for event groups should be confirmed when booking.

Details about in-house AV equipment, lighting, sound systems, and décor support for the Lawn Gazebo should be confirmed directly with The Manor's events team, as provision can differ depending on the nature of the event. The natural surroundings of the space do reduce the need for elaborate décor, though many couples and organisers choose to complement the setting with floral arrangements and ambient lighting. It is advisable to discuss external vendor policies as well.

The Manor Sports & Wellness Hotel, as a resort property in Naldehra, is expected to have on-site parking for guests. However, the specific parking capacity and any arrangements for larger event groups — such as coaches or shuttle services from Shimla — should be confirmed with the property directly before the event.

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are generally considered the most pleasant seasons in Naldehra for outdoor events, offering mild temperatures and clear skies. Summers are cool compared to the plains, making June a viable option before monsoon rains arrive. Winter events are possible in terms of atmosphere but carry the risk of snow and very low temperatures, which may not suit all guests.

Availability and pricing for the Lawn Gazebo can be enquired about by contacting The Manor Sports & Wellness Hotel directly through their official website at themanorhotel.in. The events team will typically require details such as the event date, expected guest count, and the type of function to provide an accurate proposal. Booking well in advance is advisable, particularly for peak wedding and travel seasons.

As an outdoor venue in a hill-station setting, the Lawn Gazebo may be subject to local noise guidelines or property-specific curfew policies that affect evening entertainment such as live music or DJ performances. Event organisers should discuss permissible sound levels and event end times with The Manor's team when planning the event schedule. Being in Naldehra, away from dense urban areas, may offer more flexibility than a city-centre venue, but this should be verified with the hotel.

Yes, the Lawn Gazebo's open-air setting and The Manor's sports and wellness amenities make it a fitting choice for corporate retreats and team-building programmes. The relaxed outdoor environment encourages informal interaction, and the resort's recreational facilities can be incorporated into the agenda. The events team can assist in tailoring a programme that balances structured sessions with outdoor activities.
