Orchid Lounge

Exact capacity figures for the Orchid Lounge depend on the chosen layout — seated dinner, theatre, classroom, or standing reception — and should be confirmed directly with the Pride Plaza Hotel's banqueting team. The space is positioned as one of the more intimate venues within the hotel's broader event portfolio, making it most appropriate for smaller group sizes. Reaching out to the events office with a specific layout preference will yield the most accurate numbers.

The Pride Plaza Hotel sits directly within the Aerocity hospitality zone, adjacent to IGI Airport and within minutes of Terminal 3. Guests can reach the hotel quickly after landing without navigating central Delhi traffic.

The Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity has an in-house culinary team that handles catering for events held across its banqueting spaces, including the Orchid Lounge. The Pride Plaza Hotel's policy on external vendors — including outside caterers, florists, or décor companies — should be discussed directly with the events team at the time of enquiry, as such policies can vary by event type and contractual arrangement. In-house catering and décor coordination are available through the hotel, which many planners find convenient. Clarifying vendor permissions early in the planning process helps avoid last-minute complications.

The Pride Plaza Hotel supports its event spaces with audio-visual equipment and technical assistance as part of its banqueting services. Specific AV inventory — such as projectors, screens, microphones, or sound systems — for the Orchid Lounge should be confirmed with the events team, as requirements and available packages differ by event type. Corporate event planners are encouraged to share a detailed technical brief when making an enquiry.

Yes, because the Orchid Lounge sits within the Pride Plaza Hotel's broader portfolio of event spaces, it can function as a secondary or breakout room when a larger hall on the same property is being used for the main event. This makes it particularly useful for multi-session corporate programmes, conferences, or weddings with simultaneous functions. The events team can coordinate the use of multiple spaces as part of a single booking.

The Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity has its own guest rooms and suites available for delegates or guests who need to stay overnight, which is especially convenient for multi-day corporate events or for weddings with outstation attendees. Room block arrangements for events can typically be discussed with the hotel's sales team alongside the event booking. This on-site accommodation option removes the need for guests to arrange transfers to a separate property.

Enquiries for the Orchid Lounge can be directed to the banqueting and events team at The Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity, either through the hotel's official website or by contacting the property directly. Providing the event date, expected guest count, preferred layout, and any catering or AV requirements upfront will help the team return a detailed proposal more quickly. Availability and pricing are confirmed at the time of formal enquiry.

Given Aerocity's status as a busy hospitality hub near the airport, demand for event spaces at The Pride Plaza Hotel can be high, particularly during the wedding season and around major holidays. For pre-wedding functions such as cocktail evenings or mehendi ceremonies, booking several months in advance is advisable. The events team can provide specific guidance on lead times based on the desired date.

The lounge-style format and intimate scale of the Orchid Lounge make it a practical option for corporate dinners, leadership team gatherings, or private business meetings where a polished but contained setting is preferred over a large banquet hall. The hotel's events team can arrange appropriate seating layouts, catering, and AV support for such occasions. Its proximity to IGI Airport is an added advantage for executives travelling from out of town.

As the Orchid Lounge is located within a hotel property, events are generally expected to comply with the hotel's internal guidelines regarding noise levels and event timings to ensure comfort for other guests. Specific curfew timings or amplified music policies should be confirmed with the banqueting team during the enquiry stage. Raising these questions early helps planners design a programme that works within the venue's operating parameters.

The Orchid Lounge is distinguished within the hotel's event portfolio by its intimate, lounge-style character — it offers a more personal and conversation-friendly atmosphere compared to the larger banquet halls on the same property. This makes it the preferred choice when the priority is a curated guest experience with a smaller headcount rather than maximum capacity. Planners looking for a refined setting without the formality of a grand ballroom often find it the right fit.
